watching false and ren go insane on either of their streams almost consecutively for the past few days has been really fun. i think the charity stream fomo got to ren. and being away and not online.

they are just sooooo. you can tell they love hanging out to talk about nonsense. idk there's a natural fondness and... softness? even during their weirdest of conversations. ren makes it overt but false is more like, nonchalantly going along with whatever ren is doing and giggling at his jokes, saying she'll leave but never does (and brings up his weird stuff). it's a. gentle. kind of coexistence. enabling each other's jokes and silly behaviour. they bounce with each other almost too well and they start having conversations incomprehensible to twitch chat /affectionate.

most of ren's dynamics with others that the fandom latches onto are like, dramatic and flirty. inappropriate (cleo). homoerotic (doc, iskall). roleplaying devotional arc (martyn, bdubs). but this doesn't really appear here. falseren is like the wacky slice-of-life random little interactions. sure, they have their dramatic bits (blue9, demise), but most of the time, they're just being clingy and doing random shit and talking about random shit. the weirder and more fast paced, the better. laying distraction upon distraction until you forget what you're supposed to do. and i daresay that the lack of theatrics and flirting associated with ren's usual duos leads them to be less talked about.

today they sent an impromptu love letter to a horse. ren said who would give false her "daily lols" if she muted him and she was like i dunno. ren tried to hide under false's base but she found him immediately. he was running through her two doors as they chatted. she boarded up her windows to prevent him from coming in / block her view of him. i love their constant feedback loop. they always (always!) appear on each other's streams and chats. there's this assumption that the other is there in chat when something reminds them of then. referencing the batshit convos they had the other day. idk. always on each other's minds.
