Introduction post!
Basics
Hi!!!
My name is Kesar (or any other variant of the name Caesar is fine to call me!) and I am 14. I am neurodivergent. I am an Asian-European (India and Sweden!), Hindu, and my pronouns are he/they!
Interests and Likes
I have a hyperfixation/special interest (I don't know which to use because I'm in denial about being autistic LMAO) of the Mediterranean, mostly Italy and Spain but also France, Portugal, Egypt, Greece, etc!
Languages
Due to my interest, I have taught myself Italian all on my own and I study Spanish at school since 2020, so I can speak them both at a good level.
All of the languages I speak as well as some more info on my history with them:
Swedish, I speak it every day and a bit at home
Hindi, I speak it every day at home with my family, it's the language I have grown up with mostly.
English, I speak it here and I consume a lot of English media. Also I went to an international school for a couple of years.
Spanish, I've been learning it at school. Ever since I started learning it I've been the best in the class (this is very much a flex, I am very proud of the fact). I speak it at a very good level but I'm not close to fluent.
Italian, I am very proud of that I speak it because I learnt it all on my own using primarily music. I started learning it in 2021 but then took a LONG break for almost 2 years and in 2023 I got back on track and learnt it so well I'm almost at the same level at it as I am at Spanish hahaha
French, as I speak Spanish and Italian it wasn't that hard for me to get a grasp at French. I'm definitely not good at it and am best at written French, not spoken, but I understand enough to say I know it. Also, I can carry a conversation in French so. Yeah. I also really like Lupin.
Urdu, as I speak Hindi I understand Urdu well. Of course there are words I don't know, but since I understand so much of it and I speak it better than I speak Spanish or Italian I had to include it.
Music
My favourite song artists are Marco Mengoni and MIKA. They are my top 2. I love them so much.
I also listen to Mahmood, Måneskin, Queen, The Lonely Island, Lady Gaga, Kali Uchis, Megan Thee Stallion, Veronica Maggio, Shreya Ghoshal, and a lot more.
Apart from that I like English music from 2000 to the late 2010s. I also like Hindi music, rap (i listen to a LOT of Megan Thee Stallion, she's such a queen), Eurovision (although I am not supporting them this year due to them including Israel, Free Palestine🇵🇸), Hispanic music, Francophone music, Italian music and Swedish music. I also enjoy classical, both South Asian and European.
TV
I love TV! My favourites are dramedies. I like comedy a lot. My favourite type of show would be sitcoms because I understand them and I grew up with them and I like their humour. Here are TV shows I very, very strongly like in no particular order:
Brooklyn Nine Nine, Community, 1899, Mythic Quest, Lupin, Monk, and probably more that I just don't remember right now.
I have also watched a lot of other things, but this is all that comes to mind.
There are films that I really like, and most of them I have watched more than a few times. Like there were literally periods when I would just keep rewatching these:
The Kung Fu Panda film series, The Hotel Transylvania film series, The Lorax (specifically the Italian dub), The Shrek film series, and once again probably many more.
Other stuff I like:
Doraemon, Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse & Across The Spiderverse, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhaan (2020), Smiley (2022), Saiki K (TV series, I haven't been able to read the manga :/), etc.
Books
Mostly I read fact books, in middle school the librarian hated me for (metaphorically) eating up all the books on ancient Egypt, but I also have a few books I really like!
I love Rick Riordan. My favourite from him is definitely The Kane Chronicles but I also like PJO. I'm TKC all the way, though.
I also like Geronimo & Thea Stilton as well as Diary of a Wimpy Kid. They give me comfort.
I have a lot of queer books I bought for the sole reason of them being queer but I haven't read them yet hahahaha. I'm almost finished with Friday I'm In Love by Camryn Garrett!

What's something literally dumb that doesn't matter but you could write essays on it like I'll die on the hill that Pandora and Thea and Trap Stilton were way better written in the tv show than the books and were way nicer to Geronimo there and that's why I low-key like the Geronimo Stilton cartoon better than the main books (kingdom of fantasy and crepella von Cacklefur still slap though OH AND THE PAPERCUTZ COMICS!!!!)

Anime/Manga influence on Geronimo Stilton?
Ignore this image above, this has been giving my goosebumps ever since:
What if the artwork of Geronimo Stilton had anime/manga influence?
The Golden Boy manga has an eerie art-style similarity although it features humans, not anthro-rat humanoids!
In case you are wondering, I am talking about the book series, not the 2009 animated adaptation. Things I have seen in the series have a anime-like look and feel, especially the digital art-style in later books.
Also, another reason why I started my Tumblr account is that, WHY DOES THIS GERONIMO STILTON LOOK SO FAMILIAR?!
Also on an online forum, Some people told me that there are two animated series extremely similar to Geronimo Stilton in art-style (not anime, unfortunately):
Die Ratten von Hamlin (German animated TV series, 2001)
Geronimo (Spain, 1999 - Earliest adaption of book series, animated)
I can't find them on Google, please help! They are anime influenced Western shows...

Hmm as for the headcanons for the Geronimo Stilton Pokemon AU
The TV Show and Book would have different Pokemon since most of the characters there have different personalities
Thea would definitely be a trainer no mater which incarnation
Book!Geronimo would be the type to have small peaceful Pokemon until Thea/Trap/Bruce gave him a big ass Pokemon (If it's Trap, he'll be likely to give him a Snorlax. Poor Geronimo having to babysit that thing-)
TV! Geronimo would have small Pokemon that's effective for his job BUT I have a feeling he'll have a Pokemon that gives him comfort or a break
Book! Benjamin doesn't own a Pokemon yet but he loves taking care of them (Mostly Geronimo's)
TV! Benjamin already had a small Pokemon team, just looking for more
That's all I could think of haha.. I don't know that much Pokemon to give to the characters. I hope you like it!

3. What is your favorite childhood memory?
RIN
When she was ~4/5, her mom took her for ice cream as a treat. Rin’s honestly not sure why. She just knows that it happened. And it wasn’t like just ice cream. Her mom was super nice the entire time. She’d pet Rin, coo at her, praise her, and generally gave her free reign all day. It was so unexpected from her mother! Not just the praise/general love but also that it stayed constant all day. Starla tended to switch between loving and hating Rin pretty fluidly but that day was amazing. If you ask Rin, she’d say she dreamt it.
FIONA
During peak Fiona Stoicism, way back in middle school, he dressed up for character day. Specifically he dressed up as the Fox in Socks. He went all out: red jeans, red shirt, a painted on nose, painted whiskers, blue shoes, and blue gloves. Most importantly, Fiona was fully expecting ridicule because well… look at him! But he got praise and compliments instead. Frankly, he hadn’t been praised like that in years.
4. What is your least favorite childhood memory?
RIN
The day her mom abandoned her with the police. They’d been lured into the the Children of Starlight cult (the one from Laws of Attraction) and when it eventually went downhill. Starla had run away and left Rin alone. Rin was thirteen. Keep in mind, prior to this Rin was a very clingy child. There was honestly nothing scarier to Rin than being alone and, well, Starla made that nightmare a reality that day.
FIONA
Tough one. There isn’t One Big Thing that stays with him forever but a lot of mini things that made his childhood, ultimately, a series of dull disappointments. Though, when he was in eighth grade his father made a bet with him: Fiona gets high As for the entire school year (ie 96+) in Math and his dad would let him apply for a performance art school. Obviously, that was a very high bar to keep up (he was a high B, low A math student) but Fiona worked like hell and by next summer had successfully kept his math grades above a 96 –even peaking at a 99! His dad didn’t uphold his end of the deal though so… all for nothing.
11. What is your favorite type of media (TV, movie, books, etc)? Name some specific favorites (which shows, movies, books, etc do you like)!
RIN
Books. Call her a nerd, fine. She is. I think she gets very into solarpunk lit. But also loves sillier books like The Thea Stilton, Geronimo Stilton, and Goddess Girls series. Goddess Girls is a guilty pleasure.
FIONA
Podcasts frfr. I do think he listens to story-telling podcasts (think Nightvale). But, more often than not, he’s just listening to Nigerian entertainment news. It’s hard to keep up language fluency without Igbo speakers around. He must make do (；′⌒`)
18. What’s the best way to cheer you up?
RIN
Path 1: Leave her alone. Come back in a couple hours. Give her time to understand how she feels in a space where she can’t lash out. (Rin will often distance herself when she needs it. What you do is stay away until she reaches out again.)
Path 2: Stay but listen. Just lend her a listening ear. She doesn’t want solutions or critiques right now, okay?
FIONA
Fiona likes to be distracted. He’s the sort that likes to push off processing how he feels until forever-and-amen. In the long run is it helpful? No, not really. But Fiona likes it that way, at least for now.

Do you ever feel that the writers for a book series/tv show changed (as in, it's being ghostwritten)?
For me, I got that vibe for:
Teen titans go: It's actually quite obvious. Different jokes, different plots, the characters are acting different, and for some reason Raven's wearing her cape back despite originally being a very modest person. Still enjoy it, though.
Skullduggery Pleasant: There's just a difference in the writing style. Not much else.
Geronimo Stilton (in the last ten to twenty books): Trap apologizes. That's enough proof for me. Though the fact that Geronimo Stilton heard his friend needs help and didn't immediately want to go is also proof. Also Geronimo Stilton rolling his eyes at Hercule Poirat trying to guilt-trip him (thank you @e-adlirez)

Do I wish more of the book characters are there? Yes
Do I wish there is more relaxing Geronimo and Benjamin bonding in the series? Yes I'm desperate as all hell like I might summon demons to do my work

Do I still want to punt Trap back to the moon? Yes I still want to do that
Do I wish Thea is more an aunt than a big sister? A bit yeah that's more preferable but I like how kick ass she is tho

Do I want to yell back at Shortpaws? Absolutely like I'm still angry at a particular episode oh my lord all mighty
Did my entire soul do a back flip when I first heard Benjamin's voice? Yes but it's accurate to his personality and age so I'll let it slide
Did my entire soul left my body when that particular great grandpa and great grandson bonding episode played? Yes then I remembered it's a kid show so I calmed down soon enough
Is Geronimo much less of a pushover compared to the books? Yes he fights back
Do I wish there are more seasons? Yes oh my god yes with more characters from the books like pls
Do I wish it continued? Yes preferably stopping at 5 seasons
Conclusion? I want more DadGeronimo content
