Heya everyone! With the Windblume Festival on the way, I wanted to set up something fun for all the genshin oc designers on tumblr!
It’s time for the...
Genshin OC Redesign Swap!
Essentially, this is a Secret Santa, where everyone who joins will both give a character design and get one in return.
But, the twist is that you will be redesigning someone else’s character. Of course, you don’t have to keep the design you get. It’s just fun to see how someone else interprets your character!
The final designs are completely up to you, though I would appreciate keeping them SFW and in line with some aspect of the original.
Rules:
-Please submit only one character.
-Only Genshin OCs are allowed
-Please reblog this if your interested.
-If you submit a character, you have to draw a character for someone else.
-Have your design in by the end date, April 30th, 2021.
-Take your designs seriously. They don’t have to be your masterpiece, but I’d like for everyone to try.
-You do not have to keep the redesign! It’s all for fun, just to see how other people would interpret your character.
-All designs must be colored. They can be colored however you like, they do have to be colored.
-Fill out this Jotform to be added!
-Tag your entries with #Genshin OC Redesign Swap
The Jotform will close on March 31st, 2021, so everyone has a little over two weeks to decide if they’re interested. If you need a little more time, please message me!

This is my entry for @genshinimpactocs Character redesign swap! I got you, @nemycchi ! Sooooo, here’s a redesign of her OC, Aria. It turned out much simpler than I would like...I tried out these crazy concepts but they weren’t working out :( The bottom image is the back view where her vision would be. I also kept the long ribbon at the back. I really love the idea of using mizuhiki!!! I hope you like it :)

I had a lot of fun redesigning your character to fit the Mondstadt fashion common denominators such as gold pins, latex tops and lace! I truly hope that you'll like this~

I was assigned by @genshinimpactocs to redesign @emberchii's Genshin Impact OC, Lyric! I love the original design so much, I really wanted to work on subtly incorporating elements from it in my depiction! Their overall theme is "winter night," so my mind gravitated towards the idea of aurora borealis/the northern lights!! I also felt the Favonius Sword worked really well with their colors scheme :D I hope I did them justice! Thank you for this opportunity!!! I hope you enjoy!!!!!! <3

I did a design for @genshinimpactocs 's redesign event! It's super duper late but... :D
I had @cosmic-uwucle 's OC Mashu Chantarelle, who is so so so pretty already... was a challenge coming up with something new for him! I also have no idea what cottagecore is... so this was a learning experience!

Finished my Genshin Impact OC Resdesign Piece of @princeauroraart's OC, Shiori!
I really liked the character and the design I was shown in reference images so I tried to stay true to it because it was so good! HOWEVER i could not figure out for the life of me how to incorporate the flowy sleeves, but I did add flowing ends of a belt to compensate!
she is very fun to draw and i hope you don't mind if draw her again in the future. i really liked her colors and it will also give me practice on drawing weapons

WHOOPS I ALMOST FORGOT TO POST THIS PUBLICLY anyways here’s my redesign of @a-real-changeling’s oc viktor for the @genshinimpactocs redesign swap event happening occurrence. words and phrases, i’ve heard of them...
ANYWAYS this was very fun to do and i found it very funny that when i signed up for this i decided to use kouki, who’s a hydro sword user with a scarf that i specified needed to be kept for his redesign because it’s important, and then i ended up getting a cryo claymore who ALSO wears a scarf that needed to be kept in the redesign. personally i think this is a secret conspiracy theory of some kind
