I found one of the figures I have been wanting for years for a good price 😭
I've been wanting the Songbird figure that came with the box set of Bioshock Infinite for years and I found someone selling one for $100! The only other piece of Bioshock merch that I really want is the Songbird plushie but I can't find anyone selling him for less then $200 which is a bit too much for me. But I will find him one day!

Ya know I WAS going to make a cool comic before revealing the design, but I can't hide this yummy color palette, so here's another crossover character for the Sinful Circus AU! Thanks for the given permission from @ask-the-rag-dolly, the influencer has now infected this AU as well!
I'd like to this that the reason she resembles Ragatha is because she wants to torment the ragdoll due to her being the most innocent prisoner within the circus. The Influencer had taken a multitude of forms, even once being Jax and Caine- however Ragatha's her favorite one to torment. Not to mention, she knows how much her servants appreciate her recent form as well
Being basically a wanted criminal AI, of course she's not as strong as she COULD be. She avoids the other AIs due to the wanted poster. Also her and Pomni have a very complicated relationship (and she often flirts/teases with the jester)
Abilities she has (inspired by @ask-the-rag-dolly's general blog ^^)
-Can shapeshift her hand into things
-Makes grayish bland mannequins with sunglasses as minions
-If you're insane enough, she can basically mind control you Bioshock style by asking politely for you to do something, and you'll just do it no question
-Give you D I G I T A L H A L L U C I N A T I O N S if you piss her off enough

How Half-Life *could* be interconnected with other franchises
Death stranding:
Death stranding explicitly told us that Arpeture facility's were on the map with some bonus DLC. What is not clear is if this is a friendly nod and advertisement, *or* of the death stranding verse and half-life verse are actually connected.
Preliminary observations would suggest: no they are not. Due to some of the jarring features and distinct differences of both games. However, it *is* possible that the death stranding itself was actually a zombie outbreak, and the time fall we see in game was actually a defensive measure to take out the zombified people's.
We see that other, similar cities, like Arpeture's underground city exist, and that individual fallout shelters also exist. We also see dark teleportation (something that combine forces have access to) but what we do not see is any of those enemies left over.
We do see a connection to inner-beaches, inner-hells, and the Dead by Daylight world could in fact be a representation of "Bill's" personal beach. This would be how he was able to escape death by zombie consumption.
Fallout:
This should be self-explanatory; Portal is actually referenced in one of the shelter logs as a "testing facility who does cruel and unusual experiments on its inhabitants.
Several nukes would have been used to stave off combine forces, and zombified people's--and, of course, Black Mesa.
The Fallout peoples, having no access to historical information, would have to invent their own based on third and fourth party recreations, they would also have a lot of lore and conspiracy theory instead of actual fact to go on.
BioShock:
Turns out, the city of rapture could simply be another form of fallout shelter. Virtually Safe from being nuked by world powers, or militaries, we even see similar technologies to those used in rapture during the events of Half-Life: Alyx.
However, during the events of Bioshock, we see a city overrun by zombies and mutants. And, a person with the literal ability to control people's free will simply by asking them to do something politely.
This seems reminiscent of the Nihilanth's seeming complete control over the Vortigaunts that inhabit its domain in Xen.
Simultaneously, unlike The portal simulator; it seems that Rapture exists in at least 4 dimensions. It is unclear how this came to be.
Control over these 'Nihilanth' powers seems to be the core driver of the plot, seeing as how every major character in the game gets access to this power in some facet.
They also seem to be unaware of any actual society left outside of rapture, indicating that they don't believe there are any left.
Resident Evil:
It is possible that the events of Resident Evil are happening pre-combine invasion, and are exacerbated by the events of Half-Life. It's a distinct possibility that a bioweapon initiative was developed with the sole purpose of combatting the combine forces.
Evil Dead:
It's also possible that a Nihilanth eacaped to this plane and controls the dead from evil dead. It would have to have no other affiliations, and be purposefully trying to absorb as many humans as it can into its collective.
Walking Dead
Self-explanatory, these are events occuring simultaneously to L4D
F.E.A.R.:
This could be a simulated environment run by Adrian Sheppard. A program run alongside the Counter-Strike simulation. These would be what-if scenarios run in order to determine ways to combat combine forces.
Time-Splitters:
Could be the technology used by G-Man in order to change historical events.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:
References a Nihilanth-like entity that must be destroyed.
Metro 2033
Could be simultaneous to the events of STALKER
Splinter-Cell
Could be a simulation run alongside the FEAR and CounterStrile simulations based on historical events.
DeadSpace
Humanity's attempt to escape the planet from Portal storms and combine forces. They eventually encounter a form Nihilanth mind control and flesh reconfiguration artifact.

so, i know you like bioshock(there are only 2 games) but i know nothing about it. my boyfriend, on the other hand, LOVES bioshock. do you think you could give me a rundown on what happens in the games? i know in one of ‘em, some dude named atlas brainwashes you to do anything asked if the phrase would you kindly is used and he knows it works cause he made you kill a dog or something. but i would like to know more to be able to bond with him some more! feel free to go wild and rant PLEASE

Annnnyways, this'll be a doozy, I'll do my best:
Okay so, Rapture as a city is an underwater city created by a man named Andrew Ryan, who wished for a lawless city without the overbearing hand of government, so stuff like murder, cannibalism, assault, etc etc, is all legal, it was left purely up to the civilians themselves to handle things on their own.
As for who you are in the games, in the first game you play a man named Jack Ryan, who was a genetically engineered son of Andrew Ryan, created to bypass the genetic locks all throughout Rapture and allow his creator, Atlas, who was truly Frank Fontaine, to take control of the city. In the end, after rescuing the various Little Sisters throughout the city, Frank Fontaine is killed and Jack and the Sisters escape to the surface.
In the second game, you are Subject Delta, also known as Johnny Topside, a Big Daddy who was bonded to a Little Sister named Eleanor Lamb, who is the daughter of a psychiatrist named Sophia Lamb. Sophia Lamb, in the wake of Andrew Ryan's death, created a cult known as The Family, who worships ADAM, the wonder drug the city runs on and allows people to develop superpowers, as well as drives them insane, and the Little Sisters that gather it.
They worship it because ADAM, when taken, essentially contains a copy of that person's soul, their memories, personality, abilities, everything, essentially making anyone that took ADAM immortal (as long as they didn't mind being little more than a multiple personality inside a Little Sister's head), with Eleanor Lamb being the center of the cult, though in truth Sophia Lamb had all the power, Eleanor not allowed even the most minor of input on the cult's endeavors.
In the end, with the help of Grace Holloway and Augustus Sinclair, although Delta dies in the process, Eleanor and the rescued Little Sisters escape to the surface, Eleanor consuming his ADAM so he can live on in her head.
(You can probably tell the second game's my favorite, given how I detailed it FAR more than the first rofl)

Description: Throughout the multiverse, the SCP foundation prides itself in capturing and containing the anomalous and unknown. Of course, if you want to see the SCP's contained in our universe just look it up on their website but what about in the Cinematic or any other Universe? They are contained right here in this little collection called the Horror Movie Files!

top 5 comfort characters?
This was actually so hard? I was like, omg do I even consume media enough to have comfort characters? 😂
1) Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite. I don’t even think I can explain why, but I just love her so very much.
2) Anastasia from the animated film, I grew up with her, and resonated with not really knowing who I was when I was younger (in a completely different way to her ofc) but she still feels like a warm hug to me.
3) Javi G from TUWOMT because he is soft and lovely with just the right amount of edge and crazy to him. I could watch that film on repeat just for him.
4) Hermione Granger - as the overachieving girl at school, she was my IDOL.
5) Scooby-Doo, WEIRDLY. I used to watch the old school episodes before going to school and they always remind me of simpler times when my dad would make me toast for breakfast with too much butter on and I’d sing the theme tune and my mum would always say the punch line “if it weren’t for you meddling kids” - whenever I miss my family I just put some old episodes on and that dog brings me endless joy
