5. Which fandoms have your written fanfiction for?Um, let’s see. I wrote stories for Sonic when I was, like, 9. And then the next time I wrote for a fandom was probably... Hm, I wrote a little bit for Doctor Who... Then I guess it was DCMK, some YGO, a bit of Star Trek, Death Note, Legend of Zelda, and then more sporadically for anime my roommate or I are watching. ^_^ So, like some Haikyuu and Free! and stuff. ^_^
10. Is there a fandom you read fic from but don’t write in?It used to be that I could say most of them, but I’ve started branching out a little, haha. Right now, I’ll read fic for Sterek and Kirk/Spock and Drarry, but I don’t really write it. The other things I like are mostly rare pairs orz If I don’t make the content, then I have no content.
15. Is there an obscure ship which you love?All of the ships I love are obscure, orz IchiKyuuta (Bakemono no Ko) is so good, but I’m the only person who’s written fic for it in English (seriously), and I love KaneTetsu (Akira). Plus Spike/Vicious and Faye/Jet (Cowboy Bebop). Nino/Jean (ACCA 13) is SOO CUTE. Akko/Diana (Little Witch)... God, everything I ship is a rare pair OTL
20. Any ships which you surprised yourself by liking?Hm, not really? Lance and Allura are my first straight ship in a while. But otherwise, nothing really surprises me anymore haha I’ve been in the game for far too long.
25. What’s your most popular fanfic?Lemme double check, but I think it’s my Abeshiya (Fukigen na Mononokean) fic. Yep, a winner by a landslide as far as Kudos and Notes go. (Not the most comments, interestingly enough.)
30. What inspires you to write?It’s a tie between really excellent feedback, talking about ideas with my roommate, procrastination, and sheer unadulterated spite. Never underestimate the power of spite. XD
35. Do you write drabbles? If so, what do you normally write them about?Sure! Most of my drabbles are when I want to write, but don’t have anything in particular that I want to work on. Because of that, pretty much every drabble I’ve written has been by request or prompt. ^_^
40. What do you struggle the most with in your writing?Follow through, probably. I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve started something and lost steam part way through. (You guys think GT is bad...) It’s something I’m working on, but there’s not much I can do about it.
45. What is your all time favourite fanfic?Oh, easy, So Wise We Grow is one of the best Kirk/Spock fic I’ve read. I could read it over and over again. (I’d read it right now if I weren’t busy haha.)
50. How did you get into reading and/or writing fanfiction?Well, I started writing when I was really young, like 8 or so? And characters are hard to design, so I wrote Sonic stories (SonAmy fanfiction lol) Reading, though, was mostly by accident. I was a voracious reader, and I got into reading fiction on dA. Literally ANY fiction. Original, fandom, whatever. I... have seen things. So many things. Some of the first fic I read was for Naruto, and I think I’ve watched like 8 episodes? But once I started, I just... kept going. Eventually I discovered LJ and ff.net, and well, the rest is history. I think KaiShin was the first ship I read in bulk, haha, although I did read every SuFin story on ff.net...
God, I was there for the explicit fanfic purge (and adultfanfiction which never really kicked off from what I can tell, though it seems like it’s still functional). I read the first 680-something chapters of Detective Conan on One Manga when it was still functional. Thank God for kissmanga, kissanime, and Ao3, tbh. Finding fic on LJ was a NIGHTMARE (even if the kink memes and smooch fests were excellent if you could find them).
I went off on a tangent there, haha, sorry about that. ANYWAY, thanks for the ask! ;D Hope things are going well for you!!

Fukigen na Mononokean Chapter 45 Spoilers

WOWOWOW THAT COVER PAGE!!! “Save the weak, crush the strong.” ASHIYA YOU DON’T LOOK LIKE A DELINQUENT AT ALL... YOU’RE RUINING THE EFFECT...
Abeno says he’s going to go exorcise Oisuke, so he tells Ashiya to keep the kids occupied.
Ashiya thinks that if this job had been from the Executive, if Abeno had gone to do it alone, if he hadn’t been able to stop Abeno... Abeno definitely would’ve acted recklessly again.
Oisuke’s home is safe! And he tells Abeno to give his thanks to Ashiya for using his own body to protect his home. Abeno thinks it was completely unnecessary for Ashiya to run out like that... and one misstep and Oisuke would’ve been....... well.
Ashiya is showing off various acrobatic tricks to the kids. The kids invite them to split the watermelon, but Abeno refuses. Ashiya starts talking up how good this watermelon is, and Abeno finds Ashiya’s salesman act annoying.
In the end, it seems to be decided with rock paper scissors and Abeno!! Loses!! So they stay to play. Ashiya tries first, but after spinning 10 times he gets dizzy and completely fails to hit the watermelon.
While the kids take their turn, Abeno mentions that Oisuke said thanks. Ashiya says he’s glad he was able to protect Oisuke’s home. Abeno scolds him, saying there was no need. Ashiya says if he hadn’t stopped Abeno, Abeno definitely would’ve gone and taken the blow with his own body, like BAM. Abeno says he didn’t think of doing that at all.
“Liar. Somewhere in the back of your mind, you thought of doing exactly that, didn’t you?”
Ashiya says he understands that Abeno was doing it out of consideration for him, keeping him out of requests from the Executive, but next time, “I want you to tell me next time there’s a request from the Executive. So that even if you act recklessly again, I’ll at least protect your lifeline with everything I have.”
And then Ashiya says, “Also, maybe you didn’t know, but I’m actually an employee of the Mononokean!” Saying that while he’s still inexperienced, ask him for help in any way Abeno sees fit.
“Heeeeh? I had no idea that you were an employee of the Mononokean, Ashiya-kun.” (THAT SMILE)
The kids finish up and Abeno gets roped into hitting the watermelon. He thinks about what the Executive said to him, that he doesn’t mind if Abeno “uses Ashiya in any way he sees fit”, as long as Ashiya doesn’t run away from us (yokai) first.
“Executive, your plans seem to have gone awry.” Abeno thinks as he smashes the watermelon. Clearly, the Executive thought the incident would’ve made Ashiya quit, but it’s only made Ashiya stronger.
Ashiya brings the cut up watermelon to the Mononokean and Abeno comes out wearing his school uniform. Ashiya asks if there’s another job or something, but Abeno says there was only the one today. “Really?” Ashiya asks, staring, but the Mononokean confirms it.
Abeno says that for now, there aren’t any more requests from the Executive, which the Mononokean confirms. And then, very grudgingly, Abeno says that if there is another request from the Executive, “...I’m counting on you. I guess.”
Ashiya is glad Abeno will tell him without hiding it now, and says once again, “ask me for help in any way you see fit.”
While Abeno discusses with the Mononokean about next week’s jobs schedule, since school will be starting again, Ashiya thinks about the summer’s events and about how it was a long summer. His last thought is of “Influence”, again, as he bites into the watermelon and says it’s delicious.

and the fact that Ashiya and the Executive both used the same words “as you see fit” except Ashiya’s was a freely given request for Abeno and Executive said “used” like an object.... aaaaaaa
ASHIYA GIVING ABENO DIRECTIONS FOR THE WATERMELON SMASHING and Abeno smashing it perfectly, thinking he’ll keep quiet about using Fuzzy’s presence to guess where the watermelon was... I wonder if Ashiya sat there on purpose...
also Ashiya outright calling Abeno a liar to his face hnnnnnnNNN and he can’t trust Abeno to not hide the truth from him without asking the Mononokean for a bit haha
why IS Abeno in his uniform.... does he not have any other clothes ._.
I’m... really really in love with this chapter, and also we haven’t had a chapter this long for a while... bless you sensei...
