tried watching heartbreak high......it's a yeah nah from me. 1 episode was enough to remind me why I said I was done with high school teenager media after heartstopper. also as a teacher I just can't derive entertainment from watching my job badly dramatised lmao

#this is nothing against the show really it's nice but I just can't care #also watching these high school shows just make me feel kinda sad and lame #cos I really was just a kid who went to school and came home like I didn't have many friends and when I did we just hung out in the library #played board games and list games and whatever #so I watch these shows where everyone is having sex n partying and kinda just brings up a lot shit for me honestly about feeling inadequate #would love to see a show just about like....teens hanging out and being geeky and at most having crushes that went nowhere #also I really do feel sad about how I didn't really know I was gay n stuff in school and the kids in these shows do and it's just.#I truly can't relate to it at all and can't appreciate it as entertainment because I'm just watching my job lmao #also why is heartbreak high trying to be like 'this is the Australian hs experience' when it's very specifically inner big diverse city hs #fucken city Sydney/Melbourne ppl think they're the only ppl on earth tbh
