Leaving Hawkins, had always been a far fetched dream - a fantasy that Eddie loved to indulge himself with every now and again. But, now? Now it is becoming a reality. He's leaving, leaving the shitty town behind, a town that liked to glare at him for just existing - Eddie can't wait to get away from it, but there are somethings that he will miss - like Gareth, someone that knows some of Eddie's deepest secrets. So, of course after saying all his goodbyes, he's pulling Gareth into a hug, holding onto the other tightly as if this was the last time he would see him - Eddie hopes it's not, that would truly be devastating, Forehead resting against forehead - eyes closed as he takes in the moment, and Eddie doesn't care what the hell it may look like, he is going to miss his friend so he wants to hold onto him - even if he can feel the light ghost of Gareth's breath against his lips - it's close. "I'm going to miss you," Eddie murmurs as he finally lets go of the hug, slowly pulling away from Gareth moving a hand up to Gareth's neck and giving it a small squeeze, a soft sad smile upon his lips as he looked at him, "Take care of yourself, get yourself out of here too." He steps back, dropping his hand - and why the hell are goodbyes so fucking hard?

Lips twist slightly, she gives a soft nod of her head - she knows it would be hard to believe, but Chrissy had really tried to change, in a good way. To speak up more, try and reign in her at the time boyfriend because she never liked anyone acting that way. Sometimes, she's try it with her friends when they would say a mean comment, working her way up to Jason to her mother ; but, it wasn't enough and people still got hurt, "I did... I tried, doesn't mean I succussed," Because that was the thing Chrissy knew about herself, was that others scared her even if they never mean too, it probably is boiled down to her parents and their actions, so she just... exists and follows blindly even if she doesn't like the words that come out of those she calls friends mouths. Nancy doesn't blame him for his words, she's been in his place before - how hard it's been, how hard it still is to this day. She would tell him that it gets better, but it doesn't, how can loosing someone you were close with get better? "I... I know, but there is a lot that you don't, nor could understand that also went on. I'm sorry for that, for... not coming to you, or the others sooner. I should have." Because Dustin should not have to tell them, neither of the kids should have. Hell, Dustin shouldn't have been the one to tell Wayne - Nancy was going to, she was, once she had found him. "I can't make it better, and I know, that no matter what I say, won't take away your hurt - but, you can talk to me if you want or need too. About anything."

There is a soft sigh that falls from his lips, because honestly those words are not new to him to hear. No, they're words that Steve has grown pretty use to hearing - especially when there are a bunch of nerdy children that he has taken under his wing. It's not uncommon to hear those words from one of the little shits. "You know what? You're going to have to narrow that down. Why, this time, am I a dumb bitch?" Steve's not disagreeing, "Did I get a term wrong?"

Eddie couldn't look at the other - the words alone cutting him because he had fucked up in all honesty. Going MIA after everything, probably not the best idea but he had too ; mostly for his own safety and safety of those he cared about. He would have hated the way his friends would have fell victim to the harsh ways things had happened. "You're not gonna lose me," Eddie tells him, giving a smile - one that he hopes is reassuring. "I'm not easy to get rid of. I'm still hhere."
