MRS FRIZZLE SKIRT TUTORIAL FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T SEW🎉🌟✨
🖤Any size up to 28W (28w+ add 1yd to pattern)🖤
Materials:
Measuring tape
2 yards of fabric
Scissors
Thread
Matching Bias tape and 7in Zipper
Pins or Quilting clips (pins will be more helpful for pleats)
THATS IT LETS GOOOO ✨🌟
Run to Joann's and grab yourself 2 yards for dumb funky fabric and your gonna cut it length wise ( KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN PICKING PATTERNS, ) if your pattern runs width wise, you can cut it in half (again) and rotate the pieces but we're not doing that here today.
Your fabric should look like this when it's all cut (looong)
Next get your measuring tape and find your waist size. Then clip your tape to the fabric. Start on 1 and clip the end to your waist size like shown below.
NO PANICS!! YOUR FABRIC IS SUPPOSED TO BE TOO BIG. It should look like this monster below. See?? Too much fabric but this is what we need for pleats to hide our secrets and weight.
Find the middle of your "skirt" this is where we're gonna start our pleats
Grab your handy dandy thing-a- ma- jig
Slide that puppy in 2 under, 2 over like shown below
FLIP THAT PUPPY OVER . Congratulations you have made your first pleat!!!! Pin the pleat and work your way through your skirt working from the middle out for pleats until your fabric is taught against the measuring tape AND/OR measuring your waist measurement.
Once you've reached that point and your skirt is completely pleated AND matches your waist size. Simply sew across the top of your pleats to secure them.
TAKE A BREAK AND TRY ON YOUR SKIRT
Next pull yourself some Bias tape, run that puppy across the top to hide our flaws and the fact that we can't sew. Feel free to trim your top above your sew line if your bias tape is shorter. I am personally a fan of quilting bais tape as it's wider and gives a solid line. I'm using regular bias tape in the photo, so just imagine it's twice as wide :)) pin it across the top, taking it SLOWLY sew that puppy across the top.
Your skirt should still be one piece and guess what?? ALMOST DONE. Match your 2 ends and install your zipper. Lastly sew the trim across the bottom of your skirt.
NOW YOU'RE DONE! ENJOY THE FRIZZ LIFESTYLE!!! 🎉🦖🦕🍏🌟✨

“Is this the part where you tell me that if I hurt her you’ll hurt me?” He asks me
“oh no, if you hurt her she is fully capable of hurting you herself,” I respond “but don’t ever doubt that I will help her bury your body

my kesline week wip
they searched for thirty minutes and had to recruit Kesler to help before finding Bex’s mercat blanket shoved in between her bed and the wall. she hadn’t been able to sleep without it since Edaline had given it to her when she feel asleep at havenfield. it had been one of Jolie’s many blankets. when she tried to give it back to her aunt the next time they went over, Edaline told her she could keep it, because Bex using it was much better than it sitting in a box gathering dust.
Juline and Kesler kissed her goodnight and went to the kitchen to grab some cinnacream before watching their movie.
I love it so much my body is filled with comfort

so my moms birth mom apparently really likes socks (so do i) and sea glass (so do i), and graduated with a special education degree (what i want to do) and is into herbalism (so is my mom)
i’ve never meet her and never will because she doesn’t want too meet my mom (long story)
finding out what parts of me are genetic are really cool
Finding out genetic things are always cool the last few years I’ve learned a lot of random genetic things from my bio dads side and I find it really interesting
Also story about sea glass when my grandma on my dads side died I got a little jar of sea glass because she use to collect it well the jar broke and the sea glass is now scarred around my belongings but it’s still a very important possession of mine
