We’re delighted that THE ESCAPE OF IRIS DUPONT has been nominated for this prestigious industry award as an  OFF FEST Finalist 2021.  The Offies Awards Ceremony 2021 will be held online on Sunday 21 February 2021 19.00-21.00 UK time / 18.00 -20.00 European time and will be broadcast via Scenesaver (www.scenesaver.co.uk).  It will be free to view.  

Monoblet performance cancelled

We’re sad that the performance of THE ESCAPE OF IRIS DUPONT in Monoblet,  this week has been cancelled due to COVID Theatre lockdown.

Our hosts in Monoblet have unfortunately, like nearly every other theatre, had to cancel their programme for the full season

THE ESCAPE OF IRIS DUPONT will be re-scheduled to play for a live audience in Monoblet in 2022.  

Clowning for elderly in Sauve

Rehearsals for Jean Cocteau’s:  ‘Allo?  La Voix Humaine’ -  ‘The Human Voice’

Check out the link, https://vimeo.com/330325011 - take a look behind the scenes - we’re rehearsing  ‘Allo?’- LA VOIX HUMAINE  written by Jean Cocteau, music Francis Poulenc.  Within the drama of this story, the power of Opera meets the silent expression of the full mask.  We’re fortunate to have the choice of singing the text in French, English or Norwegian.  On this clip singer, Marianne Folkestad Jahren is trying out the French version.  Pre-production is scheduled for November 19 in Oslo.  Supported by Oslo Teater Senter.

Pierre and the Moon

'Pierre dans la Lune' - 'Pierre and the Moon' a joyful warm puppet & mask story for the little ones 3+. We just love playing this piece. Tuesday is extra special as we'll be playing for a mixed audience, tiny young people with older people from a residential home. And maybe you too? Who knows.

 A collaboration with Teater Prospero was an enormous success with 'De Fjaleristiske' at the Fjaler Theatre festival in Norway! Working with local vulnerable adults from 'Vevang' in Dale, they together created a hilariously beautiful Circus show and performed to a jam packed audience. The response was so great that the ceiling virtually flew off with laughter and applause. Festival organsier Torkil Sandsund described the show as 'beyond incredible' and at the heart of the festival (transl. Norwegian!).
