He had lots of deep songs & spit raw rhymes about a special city that needed a voice & Narrarator. Short explained social issues of Northern Cali in times when Hip Hop was mostly New York voices. He did for the O what Nwa did for Compton. Geto Boys for Houston etc. He added a new dimension & perspective. Rapping about our neighborhoods & Doing videos w future Oakland stars and real live people from the streets as the extras. Some things that start in high school last forever! True that, I think my love for photography started then. 😂😂 AND possibly my love for cooking, eating, dance, travel, reading, and singing did as well! I’ve always been a creative person as far back I can remember so I don’t think I could imagine being anywhere else in the world doing anything else other than doing me here and now.
