With school starting soon, I have been looking around for healthy snacks for my kids. We are big smoothie drinkers and in my search to find something more convenient and to change snack time up a bit...I found these freeze dried smoothie snacks. They are called Moon Fruit Snacks, they are made from whole fruit then blended into favorite smoothie flavors, like strawberry banana, apple cinnamon and blended berry blast. Then it is shaped into fun sized bites and freeze-dried for a big crunch, we all really liked the crunchiness, almost like a potato chip. I almost forgot to mention these are gluten free, which would help us mom's that have children with gluten intolerance issues. I love finding healthy snacks that I know my kids really love.
