Man... This streamz. be thing is so frustrating. As someone learning Flemish, I was excited for a new show (I'm mainly interested in Déjà Vu, but there are a few I wanted to see) to practise with.
If they only used a paywall, I would've paid. If they had made it free, but only allowed access in Belgium, someone in the community would've been able to post it elsewhere.
But, they're charging for a service everyone already has, AND making it only available in one country. Meanwhile, I've heard from multiple sources that the site is flopping in Belgium because the Flemish refuse to pay for a site that only offers one or two new shows, when they're already subscribers of Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc., which I agree with!
The trouble is, if enough ppl don't watch the original shows through the site, those shows won't be shared elsewhere. For international viewers of British shows this is a common and we'll known problem.
What makes this worse is that Streamz.be is specifically using WTFock's fanbase to drum up interest in a show that features three of WTFock's most beloved actors, perhaps all while knowing that a huge portion of us might only be able to see DéJà Vu if someone pirates it.
