1930 Ford Highboy Coupe
There’s always lots of detail work with any build and this ’30 Ford highboy coupe is no exception. Look closely and you will find Craftworks Fabrication handmade steel motor mounts. The license plate and valve covers were painted by Jeremy Seanor of Luckystrike Designs. He also painted all the accompanying engine and tranny parts. The powdercoat was handled by Pittsburgh Powder Coat while the chrome plating was conducted by Jon Wright’s Custom Chrome Plating.
The chassis is comprised of a Roadster Shop custom frame that was stepped, stretched, and features contoured ’32 Ford-style framerails. It was also then boxed, capped, and has hole punch flared front framehorns. From here the frame is outfitted with a Super Bell 4-inch drop, drilled and plated I-beam axle, low-profile monoleaf spring with Ridetech tubular shocks paired to custom-made drilled billet radius rods from Johnson’s Hot Rod Shop. Steering falls to the Flaming River box and a LimeWorks Hot Rod column topped with a four-spoke Billet Specialties Sprint Car–style leather-wrapped wheel. In back there’s a Currie 9-inch rearend outfitted with 3.70 gears, 31-spline axles, QA1 coilovers, a Pete & Jakes Panhard bar, and a parallel four-link setup. Braking is a combination of disc/drum front to rear. The forward braking dark gray–painted Wilwood Dynalite calipers are neatly hidden behind the Pete & Jakes finned backing plates. While in back the 9-inch is outfitted with 11-inch brakes, this time hidden beneath the SO-CAL Speed Shop finned drums all the while the chassis rides on a full set of 16-inch Dayton wire wheels wrapped with Coker/Excelsior rubber measuring 5.50R16 in front and 7.00R18 in the back.
All hot rods have something fun settled between the ’rails and beneath the hood (well if they have a hood). In the case of our ’30 Ford highboy coupe it sure appears to be a vintage Ford Y-block but after more than a cursory look we begin to see the telltale signs that there’s something more. Indeed, while it may look like a Ford it truly is a 376-inch LSX iron block, with aluminum heads and ARP studs, plus adapter-equipped small-block Ford (Windsor) valve covers all from Don Hardy Race Cars and then assembled by Talik and Marc Mullin. The intake is an Edelbrock LS dual quad with a pair of Thunder AVS EnduraShine carbs dressed in OTB air cleaners. Delivering the gas from the Tanks stainless reservoir is an Earl’s Performance billet fuel pump. More engine accessories include an MSD 6AL box to go along with the MSD billet Ford small-block distributor that functions through a timing cover adapter from Chevrolet Performance all the while using an MSD coil and Lokar vintage plug wires. Powermaster also supplied the alternator and starter, the battery is an XS Power AGM, and a Wegner Motorsports water pump is used as well as a Wegner front accessory drive unit. This 500-plus hp V-8 utilizes custom headers made at Craftworks Fabrication based on Ultimate Headers LS header flanges. The pseudo-Ford small-block is backed up to a TCI StreetFighter 700-R4 with a 2,800-stall speed converter operated by a Lokar shifter. The trans cooler comes by way of Derale Performance and moves the power through a 3-inch-diameter custom-made driveshaft.

I love your blog. It is SO refreshing to find a chastity blog that expounds on the REAL aspect of chastity, and I find the dynamic between you two to be simply amazing. Thank you both for sharing your journey. I have a question for Tom. I have the same cage, the A276, and love it. It nicely accommodated my PA. I seem to recall a post a little while back where you addressed comfort, and you mentioned polishing. I was curious if you have any recommendations for polishing compounds or other methods that you’ve used successfully? I was even thinking of something like a jewelers tumbler, but if you have another recommendation, I’d be grateful. Thank you both for a great blog!

🔒Tom here. I simply buffed the inside of my cage with extra fine Scotchbrite, noting if there were sharp edges that might pull the fibers (there were not), and did the same on the outside. I remember using some regular jewelers rouge (the kind meant for stainless steel) on a buffing wheel around the outside, and up near the locking flange. I probably did the same with the cuff ring, and washed everything thoroughly in hot soapy water with a cloth. Buffing compound is not water soluble so you have to use detergent to make sure it's cleaned.
I have thought about using a small tumbler with corn cob or walnut shells, but that would be more for shine and surface finish. I don't think it would have much affect on the inside surfaces. If you try that, let me know how it worked out.

The ads for companies in the public transport sector, whether it’s people who build trains or people who make software for buses, usually read something like, “we’re looking for really good people, and we have jobs”. And that’s just boring; neither of these are specific to this industry. There’s usually nothing in there about why public transit in general and trains in particular matter. So let me sum up my thoughts about why you should care (and potentially work in this field), sort of as a manifesto.
First of all, it’s just plain fun. Big technical things, lots of people, lots of complicated technology… not everybody’s excited by that, and you don’t have to be to work in this field, but if you are, this is a big bonus.
The more important part is that it really, really matters:
Our planet is burning. We use too much energy from fossil sources, and transportation is a big part of that.
The fossil energy sources we have all suck; they destroy the environment not just when you burn the oil or gas, but already when you extract them (fracking), and they give power to all the worst people in the world.
The world keeps getting smaller, and people want to and have to travel more and more.
Cities keep getting bigger, and getting from end to the other becomes more and more of a pressing issue.
Cars don’t scale; they just make everyone miserable. Drivers hate traffic jams that happen no matter how wide the road is, and everybody else hates the noise and having to cram in what little space gets left over.
When we try to solve these issues, we find that a large number of fundamental things still remain true:
The most efficient way to travel is to travel together.
The more people you put in a vehicle, the cheaper it becomes per person/unit of freight.
The best way to drive something has always been the electric motor. There has never been an exception to it, the only problem has ever been getting power to it.
The easiest way of getting electric power to the electric motor is by plugging the vehicles in, meaning putting some way to give power alongside all of the way it travels on.
The dimension that scales the best is length, because height and width determine the cost of tunnels and bridges and infrastructure.
It’s more efficient to have one big vehicle, or lots of small ones controlled together, than lots of individual ones all with their own control and power systems.
The best and cheapest way to control all these vehicles together is to attach them mechanically and run some cables between them. Truck and car manufacturers have said they’ll do platooning via cameras and radar and radio and so on any day now for the past forty years. Train couplings have done it from day one.
The best way to ensure safety and performance is if all vehicles are automatically guided. This also helps with control, electricity supply and so on. Everything becomes so much easier if you know exactly where your vehicle will be in the horizontal position.
The best and cheapest way to automatically guide vehicles is by doing it mechanically. The method with two slightly tilted steel rails and conical steel wheels with flanges for tight corners that was invented in the 1820s still hasn’t been surpassed.
The best solution to transportation is public transport, especially with trains.
That is not to say that this is easy. For close to a hundred years now, our growing world has been built for cars first, while rail infrastructure wasn’t allowed to keep up and in most places actually went backwards. If we want more trains now, we’ll have to figure out how to run more trains on the infrastructure that already exists; how to transport more people and freight with fewer trains; and how to build new infrastructure in places that already exist and don’t necessarily have the space for it. And all of this has to be done as efficiently as possible, because excessive money spent on one project means another project may never happen.
That’s why the public transit and rail industry needs smart people, and why I’ve chosen to work there and can recommend it: We need more of it, and we need to run it smarter and cheaper every day. Every little bit helps, and every large bit helps even more.

Anabolic stage scene
Regiondirect→ center stage:
The scene is a living room at 2:00 on Christmas morning. The set is a middle class living room with new cream carpet and clean white furnishings. Regionreaders see a standing height view of a decorated tree on the left, under it, some presents in boxes, some on a table, and some on the large couch. Decorative looking columns separate the living room from a kitchen at left (stage right). A blizzard is making motion and sound in the trees outside. The camer’eye drops vertically until the view is on the floor, the entire room now feels like a canyon with small sized objects like sockets and chair legs dwarfing the regionreader’s perspective.
Now the room is unusually dark. The color fades back and forth from black and white to full color. Reflections of Christmas lights on the gloss surface of hung ornaments look like distant radio towers flashing. Green + blue glow is bouncing to a haze on the window over quick snowfall and increased wind outside.
(Rectangular present boxes, white carpet, sectional couch, brown end table, fireplace mantle clock, Christmas tree, ornaments with names, a snowmask sunrise, a window into a backyard with birdfeeders and snowy branches + perched cardinals, a cellphone charger plugged in, many baubles, a glass light dome on the ceiling, a vacuum cleaner parked in the corner, a reading lamp by a lounge chair)
Snowy tree branches violently blown by the wind slam into the window,
A fast burst of downfalling snow with glass,
Onto rainwet carpet, ten twigs now drop,
Three round green baubles tumble off branch-steps,
and enter the glasswater clump. Quick→smash glop.

A whole branch from outside enters the second window, breaks in two, and an asteroid made of doorhinges enters from stage right on a wide orbit and crashes into the middle of the room. Thousand hinges spill. The two tree branch pieces break into four, and two silver hinges crawl up like bugs and join them as knees: this makes the branches into the legs.
Blizzard wind throttles the living room. Where are the homeowners? One of the giftboxes is crushed by a grandfather clock, cardboard and wrapping paper blow around, ripping up, floating, now damp and mixed with dust of clockglass. Paper scraps and torn ribbon strands coalesce under wind force in the corner and are glued together when a huge pair of hands squeezes a glue bottle into the mess from above the stage. A 4wd bulldozer made out of a leather suitcase and a dustpan pushes the paperboard slurry inside a steel basin. Now the basin drains down an open duct from stage left to stage right and fills up a double-sided mould where the paperglassglue slurry dries in the shape of two arms; and this makes the arms.
and the arms are raised out of the mould and are lifted into the air by a gantry in the night sky while the Christmas tree tips over and explodes→ out→orange flame. Same time, a long tubular birdfeeder is blown through the window and starts rolling around on its side like a rolling pin: Tossing around windust.
The back wall collapses→and the backdrop is now a moving projection of a hospital corridor with square telemetry terminals and a tall IV drip pole.
A stack of nineteen giftcards tied up and laid down sideways grows flanged wheels and drives from stage right on a railroad to stage left like a boxcar. All of the cards are addressed to one person but their name is misspelled a different way on each one. It crashes into an open mailbox which closes its door, raises its flag, and shrinks into darkness.
Mantle clock from the brick hearthjamb meets tire mud
Hands against its face brusquely bent and halted
Bulldozer pushes the mud-cloaked brass left.
Phone charger cable spunsweept: coil-whip; flies→
airborne→ a white corkscrew, serpent-tornado
Stage middle,
tall white tail+ small green tree pins sucked, spun.
White soft rug scraped off the floor by the rampage
of a jealous vacuum cleaner turned hate-fiend.
The white soft rug retreats in waves like slime mold
while marble + bricks from the hearth fall on it.
A silver shower basket rolls into the middle of the stage on four thick-tired wheels.
A helicopter with a robotic hand wearing a blue surgical glove flies up to the ceiling light and reaches for the dome→
The ceiling light dome is unscrewed, taken down, and epoxied to the silver shower basket to create a skull, this is the skull.
A volleyball falls from the ceiling and is popped by a gliderdart. The limp corpse of the volleyball is stitched to the domebasket to cover it up as skin and scalp.
The vacuum cleaner drives around on its own at stage left and is picked up by a gantry. Big robotic hands wearing blue gloves wield surgical instruments and a rusty toolbox and now move in from right and left. The vacuum gets doorknob joints implanted on four points to create a torso, this is the torso.
Branches from the tree that fell through the wall roll and snap on the ground like alligators, and are then carved into legs by mobile sculptorsaws: These are the wooden legs.
A bunch of shards of glass from the broken ornaments and window are crushed, melted, blown and pulled long to reshape them into two arms, these are the arms.
The two arms are duplicated. One pair of arms is attached to the body of the grandfather clock, with one arm emerging from where the face was and the other from the pendulum chasm. The other two arms are jointed to the top of the ornamental end table. Each arm gets a doorknob for a shoulder joint. These parts together make a tall humanoid and a short one. These armbeings walk to the center of the stage (now an arena) and precede to box each other, armwrestle, and then finally fence with foils.
The Christmas tree is now burned and snowed over, snow melting under flames reigniting then going out→ in sync with a flame elsewhere lit under the burning plastic branches to bloom.
This whole horizontal mess looks like a flashing matrix of LED lights going red, then down to orange, then almost dead dim, then orange and red again. It’s angry fire though. Eventually the most of the tree is burned, wet, soot. Three small tornadoes of soot spin at the border.

White, awful wire: Shock from spark to socket
Went left to right and burned the drywall
And a tall gardening cart slides from stage left to right←on a monorail track, then reaches out a reticulated lamp post limb which ends with a dustpan, and now starts scooping the plastitreesoot. Now a sapient bottle of soap goes stage right to left→ and dumps a stream of soap that pours long and forms out to the shape of a human hand. The soaphand starts attempting to clean the ashes and melted plastic off the carpet, but the burnt goop is too fused with the cream grid of fibers for any success.
The hospital scene backdrop shows a sobbing nurse.
Regiondirect→ In kitchen stage left
Napkins launch into the air as fabric rocket planes and land gently as migrating butterflies. The butterflies eat minerals off of metal pieces of ornaments and shiny glass. Napkin rings fall from thirty feet in the air and clack on the exposed concrete where the carpet has retreated in fear.
The sets of arms now throw down their foils and beat each other to death
The storm cloud is a heavy tarp with thousands of pores, suspended on a horizontal zigzag lattice boom, coruscating center to edge through colors of black purple and gray:
Like winterain bioluminescence
along this airborne trespasser who makes everything wet.
The wind is a network of hateful drum fans suspended on flat helium balloons, puffeting angrily at the old pictures on the walls in the attacked house: Wind, stormcloud’s sidekick.

Family portraits in frames are blown down and fall into intelligent blenders hidden under the carpet around the floor at stage left. The blenders grind up the pictures.
Next to ramps underneath the blender blades, trapdoors open upwards. Long linkages located outside the blenders then pull back the blade+blademotors, sideways, and out of the tank; and the contents of blended portrait scraps fall down the ramps, and into a running waterfall + creek that then ends on a conveyor. Now this wet slurry of destroyed image is carried up→the elevator to a hanging lattice structure on the ceiling at stage middle where the wet mess is funneled down a traffic cone into a pair of moulds hung above candleheaters where the heat dries it, and turns it into arms, legs, and a head: Body out of the drying filth.
The sectional couch bends on a joint in the middle, the sectional couch bends in half like a giant pair of calipers, and it has six thick tractor wheels, the offroad sectionalcouch drives to stage left from the right side of the collapsing living room, where it gets rained on with wall dust and ash and hail, to the center where it grasps the remaining Christmas presents+burnt tree and bites into→the boxes with twelve spears made out of firepokers that emerge from under the cushions.
Two gloved mechanical hands and a gantry pick up the Sixwheeler couch, remove two wheels→ saving four as shoulder and leg joints, cover it in plaster + electrical tape, and set this up vertically as a torso. Leftover brass from the smashed clocks is now melted in with iron from the Christmas tree base and now mixed with glass from everywhere and poured into a head-shaped mould→ This makes a skull.

A cardiogram is heard flatlining mixed with an ambulance siren mixed with a low note from a pipe organ mixed with the song of a mourning dove.

The ceiling and rear walls implode and bury the set, then the stage floor opens up and the calamity is sucked down through water→ the whole stage is built on top of a garbage disposal and sink.
A curtain (like the ones in hospital rooms) falls.

Rick Dobbertin's outrageous Pontiac J2000. Magazines of the day described the J2000 as being from another planet. It featured a pneumatically lifted flip-up body and a flip-front, all covered in insane graphics incorporating dozens of colours. Its tube-frame chassis was made from polished 304 stainless steel. An alloy 350 Chevy up front ran dual Magnuson superchargers, dual Rotomaster turbos and a 20-port nitrous system. Like the engine block, the aluminium four-speed Lenco was fully polished, while the solidly mounted Dana 60 rear end measured just 25 inches axle flange-to- axle flange which left only 8.25 inches between the tyre's sidewall bulges! It had to be that narrow to tuck those custom-made 20-inch-wide wheels and tyres high up into the narrow J2000 body.

A properly designed exhaust system is critical to engine performance. Skunk2’s 76mm MegaPower RR Exhaust system for the 2012-2015 Civic Si coupe was developed with this in mind and is based off of more than 15 years’ worth of racing experience. Dyno-proven for maximum horsepower, MegaPower RR systems are constructed of T-304 stainless steel, are robotically TIG welded, and feature CNC mandrel bends for a precise fit. The MegaPower RR for the 2012-2015 Civic Si in conjunction with the Skunk2 Alpha Header for the 2012-2015 Civic Si has seen hp gains above 30hp.
Designed for heavily modified naturally aspirated engines as well as for turbocharged applications that require more exhaust flow than Skunk2’s 70mm MegaPower R Exhausts provide, MegaPower RR Exhausts allow engines to breathe more efficiently and produce more power thanks to larger diameter piping. MegaPower RR Exhaust systems were designed for maximum flow and power, featuring oversized tubing and mufflers, which result in a significantly louder tone when compared to other MegaPower systems.
Featuring Japanese-spec, Super N1 styling, MegaPower RR Exhaust systems generate more horsepower by optimizing engine airflow and volume through carefully selected, application-specific tubing lengths and diameters and increased wave scavenging effects for more horsepower. CNC mandrel bending allows for a constant tubing diameter throughout the bend, which results in precise fitment as well as improved exhaust gas flow. Each system is fitted with a resonator, includes stainless steel flanges, and is finished off with a straight-through, low-restriction racing muffler for uninterrupted flow. Each fully polished muffler is mated to a 110mm polished tip with its own acid-etched MegaPower badge and serialized nameplate. A Skunk2 removable silencer and all necessary hardware are also included.
Skunk2’s MegaPower Exhaust systems are based off of the same systems we custom build for our road racing and time attack vehicles. MegaPower Exhaust systems offer more performance, better build-quality, and the ultimate sound when compared to comparably priced systems.

How does the KTuner Touchscreen Work?

5 Programmable LEDs can be set to show any combination of colors (RGB) and even allow for fading between a start and end color based on your settings. Customizable intensity settings for each breakpoint allow you to fade in or out at your desired breakpoints. Warnings allow an LED to flash rapidly to easily grab your attention. This can be used for shiftlights, an overheat warning, overboost warning, and other options.
KTunerFlash V2 features On Board Logging With Programmable On/Off Parameters for recording datalogs without a laptop! We allow up to 1000 datalogs to be recorded with no limit on length, so you’ll never miss a beat. Quickly enable or disable on board logging from the menu and once your parameters are met it will record all essential data for later review.
KTunerFlash V2 has built-in bluetooth integration. With a supporting app, like TunerView for Android ($5), you are also able to add additional gauge integration for real-time data display and more.
