In the past this was my dads job. Mum would pass him the chillies and he’d thread them on a string and they would be put out to dry. Now I have to do it myself. I think he’d have a laugh but deep down I know he’d be proud. It’s been on my list of things to do, in fact some had already started drying, so tonight I threaded them all up and hung them near my window to dry.
