My fave 75 fic? That’s really hard! Got to be one of my bestie @drinkurkombucha’s. Basically over the pandemic I became obsessed with her writing, then we became pals and she forced me to start writing Gatty fic and then the past two years happened haha! She is responsible!
Everything she touches is gold but my fave is this because it’s so meta and so hilarious - every time I got an update of this I devoured it in a hysterical mess! Matty’s talking cock is a minor character, and I know how that sounds but believe me- it’s absolute genius! I loved it so much that I press-ganged her and we created a whole multiverse out of it with some of my characters and hers that was utterly deranged but the BEST fun! I’m also a sucker for this and its sequel this
If you prefer straight fic, my other very good mate @red---moon’s work is stellar, @imagine-that-100 can write reader-insert in a way I never could and it’s much loved, @applesfallingfromblondehair basically made Ratty her own and I‘ve also been loving trumanblacc’s stuff recently on AO3 here
Finally this was one of the very first Gatty fics I read that sucked me in - it’s utter filth and I still love it!

As it’s Frankie Friday, I have some Frankie thoughts and questions today:
Questions
How many kids does Frankie have in TF? I’ve noticed in fics, including my fic CIWYW, he often just has the baby mentioned at the start, but he says ‘new baby’ which leaves it open to interpretation. Does he have more than one kid then, what would that mean for his character throughout and the aftermath of the film?
If Frankie can’t get his licence back, what does he do and what’s his next choice of career or options after the film?
what do you think? I’m really interested in how people interpret some of this or your headcanons too?
Random Frankie Thoughts
Every time I watch this film, it breaks my heart how easily Frankie falls to peer pressure and doesn’t listen to his gut feel. He really doesn’t want to go on the reccy, he knows the helicopter is loaded too heavy, he just doesn’t fight back against his friends on this enough.
The way he looks to Will in the locker room, saying his lady doesn’t like him getting involved in this anymore, breaks my heart too. He’s begging Will here to back him up and get him out of this
I headcanon him as a people pleaser for sure. That would be interesting to see in how it impacts his relationships, especially with his partner at the start of the film. If she doesn’t like him doing this, how on earth do they get past that? I have read some brilliant fics on this exact question though!
In spite of the above, we see his hyper competent, focused (but arguably completely shut down) self in the mission too. He’s skilled at what he does.
He’s got layers, baby, layers!

Hello again! While I've mentioned all the 03 Don fics in my bookmarks, I'll offer some other tmnt rec's!
Elemental Brothers, by fireworksinthenight. This is an AU set in the Avatar universe that somewhat combines multiple iterations, with an emphasis on 2012. Human AU, Leo and Raph centric.
I am also fond of If You Cross Over, also by fireworksinthenigh, which is an 03 and 2012 crossover.
Eldest Brother, by dEBB987 is one of my favorite on-going fics right now, which is a Rise and 2012 crossover (KIND OF... it has some AU elements).
the Little Scraps of Wisdom series by clandestineClairvoyant is a Rise AU where Yoshi was never mutated but ended up with four turtle children anyway.
I'll also direct you to my own AO3, which I won't recommend, per say, as the author, but I do have one 03 Donnie centric fic, though it is an Usagi/Donatello. Do with that information as you like.

morninggg, I’m gonna be straight up here and say I don’t really think I do fluffy drarry? So I’m not sure this will hit the spot BUT I’m feeling reccy and these are fics that I find satisfying and comforting when I’m in an emotional pickle:
1. The Vanishing Department - @dictacontrion (48k, E)
The things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, even if that involves a lot more form-filling, bickering, covert glancing, miscommunication, and flying furniture than we might expect.
2. A convenient Impracticality - @firethesound (38K, E)
Somehow Harry ends up agreeing to a fake relationship with his ex-nemesis-turned-friendly-acquaintance-with-benefits, except for some reason it involves an awful lot of actual dating and, sadly, not much sex. Confused? Harry is too, but when has anything with Draco Malfoy ever been as straightforward as it seems?
3. An Act of Kindness for One Harry Potter by a Sympathetic Draco Malfoy - oidontknowo (16k, E)
As Draco leaned on the wall to wait for them to get dressed, he could not help feeling like he had done a very kind thing by disrupting them. Someone should give Potter a better rogering than that sorry sod had. The man had saved the bloody world—okay, mostly Europe—the least someone could do was give him a proper shag.
4. Weeds or Wildflowers - @lqtraintracks & @unmistakablyoatmeal (17K, E)
A perfect match, a romance for the ages, with a one hundred percent success rate! Magic Match claims they can give Draco all of this. So why do they keep sending him on dates with Harry Potter?
5. The Frisky Furnishings of Malfoy Manor - @writcraft (20K, E)
The course of true love never did run smooth.
Or: Hermione has a crafty plan, Harry and Draco are fake boyfriends and wizarding traditions have a lot to answer for. Featuring awkward dates, mince pies, a saucy sofa and a line of sequined house-elf haute couture nobody asked for but got anyway.
6. Here Be Dragons - birdsofshore (22K, E)
Harry doesn’t want to waste his time investigating illegal dragonhide trading, whether it involves a fetish club in Knockturn Alley or visiting a remote island in Wales. Why the bloody hell does Malfoy always have to be up to something?
7. Bricks & Mortar - @doubleappled (19K, E)
Diagon Alley is undergoing a major revitalisation, and Hermione convinces Harry to be a part of it. He has zero interest in his appallingly fit, completely infuriating, blond-haired-and-grey-eyed neighbour… but his brand-new magical bookshop has other plans.
(I also realised half way that some of these are not really that long, but whatever, length is subjective and I already have 500 tabs open I can’t handle opening more LMAO sozzles)

3 ships: I only have two really, Mcdanno (H50) and Bodie and Doyle (The Professionals)...a 1970′s British show which is a buddy cop type show and while the two leads are very close, the ship teasers are no where near what they are in the mcdanno world.
last song: dance and hip hop on spotify mostly although sometimes I’m in the mood for old time music like Doris Day and jazz which I have on vinyl.
last movie: I can’t remember the title but it was a shoot em up action one.
currently watching: repeats of H50 up to season 6 which is all I can access and keenly waiting for more 911 (so I can make a shipping assessment) and the last season of Bosch which aren’t showing yet in Australia.
currently reading: Michael Connelly ‘Two Kinds of Truth’, Kate Grenville ‘The Writing Book’ and H50 fan fic. **thanks @stephmcx for the reccie for ‘After the Fever’, I am about to dive into it**
