my favorite thing about arjuna's character has always been that he's so upright he paradoxically cannot believe that he's upright at all. from his refusal to accept imperfections in his actions and thought processes, to his deep-rooted fear of disappointing people and being discarded and unloved if they see him being too flawed, to panicking about being "caught" to the point where he has some extreme and violent contemplations (likely a product of the violence he's known throughout life)...it's all very human and relatable.
i hope one day he will appear in a work as the sole servant to a sole master that has their own character and can actually grow alongside him. i do wonder if they've refrained from this so far because he's most marketable when "we" are that master for him in fgo (need that yume money). But maybe someday. The Miracle will happen.

gmgmr SOMEONE needs to take dantes' place, like a baton pass as they say. only his flames can burn that malignant remnants that dwell in guda's trash heap. of course, there are servants such as abby and oberon fighting it back, (and the occassional protectors such as merlin, purin, beni enma) but its the COUNT's FLAMES that actually decrease it as evidenced by his interludes, shirou's interludes and apperances in the main story... yume-secom members can only hack it away or protect guda's dreams (oberon) or protect guda from outer gods (abigail), but his flames are able to eat it away at the cost of his body weakening since he has been exposed to it for years now.
and during scathach's trial, she already said that the amount guda has during around london isnt normal to have. she effortlessly killed around a thousand of those malignant remnants, whereas if we think about it now, dantes' job is much harder as time passes..the exposure even more isnt helping... the death flag is way too real... that remnant of dantes was in such a bad situation that not only nightingale again but abigail had been highly concerned in interlude 2. which takes place sometime after lb6, where chaldea fought a literal god bloated with so much curses that its just a walking corpse. if post-battle exposure and effects took a toll on guda's body, who is to say that guda's own guardian for their mental health didnt take an extreme hit every battle against cernunnos's hands, the dead god itself and the calamities?

Super Random but...
So the first FGO Babylonia ED was about Mash. The second is about Gilgamesh. We all know that. The visuals clearly show that.
But then you look at the song lyrics.

Lyrics and overall message apply to Mash
About how Mash was in isolation before. She was alone. Then she made friends, and went on an adventure going to each singularity.

Pretty much a Gil misses Enkidu and will never forget him. And also stuff about proving worth? Also, I feel as the song is very shippy (Gilkidu for life)
I feel as though the EDs do a very good job showcasing how these two characters feel and such.

hey welcome to my fate & yume blog
i'm isla i'm 25 any pronouns and this is where i don't shut the fuck up, ever, because at the rate this is going i'm going to need a containment zone off my main blog. please be gentle with me i'm catching up with all the fgo story i missed slowly with my girlfriend. i've read/played a shit ton of other fate stuff including FSN+HA though. i also like tha Wider Nasuverse and KnK is really cool.
the main ships here are macha (the woman on the right) x arjuna and x junao. if sharing bothers you i thought you'd like to know. also, this blog will sometimes contain mentions of cults and brainwashing (under read mores with warnings) because that's a major part of macha and badb's backstory, though it's heavy enough that i won't get into it much here.
you'll see ritsuka (female) and two other master OCs on here sometimes because i like to have my yume characters exist alongside the protagonist & friend OCs.
i'll share info about the siblings eventually i'm just shy right now lol. ok go post go into the wild now!!
