♤ Flashback Friday to April 2016 ♤ During my third solo trip to Las Vegas, I decided it was time for the Eiffel Tower Experience. For a relatively reasonable fee, you can go up to the observation deck in the Eiffel Tower that is part of the Paris Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. This may sound like no big deal to most tourists, but I'm terrified of heights. (I know, I know...a flight attendant who is afraid of heights...how "Lifetime movie cliché." But being in a plane doesn't bother me at all.) I wasn't going to talk myself out of going up there - I wanted those photos!! My hands were shaking the whole time, which is probably why the photos aren't perfectly clear, but the views were absolutely worth the increased heart rate and cold sweat. I only wish I'd had a more powerful camera at the time. Interesting fact: the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas is a half-size replica.
