I've watched bits and pieces of the Johnny Depp versus Amber Heard trial. I hope that he wins the trial and is finally able to move on with his life. I hope that the businesses that dropped him realize what a horrible mistake they made.

I look at him and I see a man who has been put through some horrible shit, publicly, and is in pain. A man who thought he knew who he was in love with but sadly that person never existed. Amber Heard knew what he was looking for in a significant other and pretended to be that person until her narcissistic mask began to slip a little at a time. The daily mental, emotional, and physical abuse took a toll on him and he began to act out, only to be called "crazy" by the woman who was supposed to stand by him and love him unconditionally. She's a fraud. She is trying to play the role of a lifetime.

I honestly believe the only reason she accused him of abuse was to beat him to the punch; she didn't want to be labeled as an abusive wife so she turned what she did to him into what she claims he did to her. Her ego is so large and she can't have the public thinking negative of her. She wants what she wants when she wants it and when that no longer serves her she discards it.

A narcissist can't be helped. They are the way they are. The person regards themself highly, placing themself on a pedestal, they are incapable of feeling emotions but they observe others and how they act so they can learn to mimic the behavior, the person is poised and kind in the public eye but behind closed doors they are the complete opposite, they like control and enjoy inflicting pain on others. Basically it's living with a sociopath.

How do I know this? I lived with a narcissist for eight years. I know the signs, I know how it feels to be at the mercy of a soulless person, to feel alone, depressed, crazy, but still able to love the person. A narcissist will act like the person they were when you fell in love from time to time to keep you under their spell; their power. They do this when they feel you are loosening your grip. They have to pull you back in because they aren't done with the mind games, the control, or the abuse.

I wish the best for Johnny Depp. I hope he is able to put this behind him and move on. Once he wins the trial, I am praying his career will pick back up and he will once again get to play the roles that he has brought to life. Hopefully he will heal emotionally, mentally, and physically while learning to love himself. Maybe he will see himself how all his fans see him.
