Power Rangers OCs: The Sanchez Family

Maria was literally one of my first OCs ever yet I barely make any content of her. So here is a basic rundown of her and her family members who are Power Rangers.

Maria Sanchez: The first Purple Ranger, she was the loner with a snarky attitude who always kept her head down and wasn't exactly popular with her peers (or her teachers). What she thought was a lucky coin given to her by her abuela turned out to be the lost Purple Power Coin. When Zordon sensed the coin he teleported her to the Command Center and offered her a chance to join the Power Rangers. At first she had no interest in being a ranger, much less working with the people she disliked. Her time with the rangers slowly made her less aloof and more open with the others, even gaining a love interest in Rocky. Later, Maria upgraded to the Zeo Ranger VI, and mich later, the first Purple Turbo Ranger.

Bianca Sanchez: Maria's younger, bubbly and nosey twin who was a reporter for Angel Grove High newspaper. She would always snoop around trying to figure out the rangers identity to no avail. Once Turbo came around she did found out but understanding the hard way just how important keeping their identities were, she vowed to keep it a secret. It was this surprising act of loyalty that led to her becoming Maria's successor as the Purple Turbo Ranger. Bianca would then go on to be the Purple Space Ranger.

Rosita McGrath: Introduced as the sassy four year old niece of the twins. In 2004 (aged fourteen) she became the Dino Thunder Pink Ranger in her freshman year of high school. History sort of repeats itself when she becomes to Trent, unaware that he was the (then evil) White Ranger. As confident as she is sometimes she can be too much of a diva.

Violetta "Letty" Sanchez (de Santos) The SPD Violet ranger and the future daughter of Maria and Rocky. Starting out as a detective and ally of the rangers, she made up for the lack of genetic abilities with her resourcefulness and extensive knowledge of the law. She can be too hard-nosed at times as well as a bit petty mainly towards Skylar. Speaking of which they had a rival-to-lovers dynamic. Letty's suit number is 7 as she became a ranger after Future!Sam.

Silvia Sanchez: A young Sanchez cousin and the Purple Samurai Ranger. She was an artist and jewellery maker whose grandmother was a friend and student of Jayden's grandfather. On her birthday she received a crescent shaped box revealing to be her Origami Zord Rooster. She can control metal, although her power wasn't strong in her earlier missions.

Rebeca "Becky" De Santos: Letty's sister and the Ninja Steel Green Ranger. She's the outgoing party girl and total fangirl, yet she puts her more childish qualities aside to help others. She has an interest in astronomy. Her power is based on the moon.

I have more Ranger!OCs (one or two for each season) but they are unrelated to the Sanchez so they get their own post. Individual Bios are still WIP. For now just tell me what you think of my characters and hopefully I made them well-rounded.

YUP, 2022 it’s gonna be a lewd year XD Sex Warrior Pudding

It’s not what you think, I mean it is, but not the way you imagine kinda.... Sex Warrior Pudding It’s a hentai from 2004 based on a eroge.

The characters are magical girls with food names who work at a restaurant called A la Mode and have personalities and designs that mostly match up with the Mews, the male lead is kind of an Aoyama/Ryou combo. Pudding is actually the name of the Ichigo wannabe. Besides the food theme nothing else in this H is compared to TMM, I’d say it’s more of a Powers Rangers Parody.

Pink Mint in Magicla Canan Magical Canan the SFW version based of an Eroge and Hentai anime (Septem Charm Magical Kanan ) of the magical girl type. In episode 03, the main character is taken to a cosplay cafe where the waitresses are working in costume. One of them is dressed like Mew Mint, however, the costume is PINK, and instead of a pendant, a stone is replaced as a necklace. The wings are also different, but the reference here is unmistakable. Additionally, there seems to be a picture of Mint up on the wall behind her

4kids Nation Anthem - Here - The stars of 4kids sing the USA National Anthem

Ame Akasaka - Despite having the last name as Keiichiro Akasaka this character DOESN’T EXIST, it was a fake character created by Birdie1493

It was a fanmade Mew who was supposed to be Akasaka’s sister. Fake Songs on AnimeLyrics - Self explanitory, an anon made up some song lyrics, uploaded them into animelyrics and tagged them as being from TMM. Troubke at the Firefly Festiva - It is someone’s fan project but the reason it’s on the depths is because some shady websites tried to pass it off as a real mew mew movie. No idea what the download links really led to

Ryou is dying theroy - Fan theory where Ryou's incompatible genes with the Irimiote Cat DNA will kill him by the age of 20. Ryou is already 15 It's even implied (particularly in A La Mode) that he knows, even pretending be mean so they won't be that sad when he passes.

Thoughts on the “Sailor Moon Crystal” English dub. Season two episode twelve.

this is the end

until they release the season three dub

hell they still haven’t released the Sailor Moon S dub to Hulu, apparently Viz is weird when it comes to how they handle their dubs. we have the cast for S, we know who the Outers will be played by but assuming they dubbed that season already they are withholding it at the moment. I know R is being released soon on blu-ray so once that’s out they’ll probably release S, but I don’t know when season three of Crystal will get its release. and after doing some research the SDC English dub is getting a similar treatment, people have said that the three episodes they dubbed back in 2014 were a test dub while others say they dubbed everything but are not going to release it to the public until perhaps after PH and BT are rereleased onto blu-ray (at the very least we know the blu-ray is coming). so that’s gonna be weird when I get to my Jojo viewing and I blame Viz for it.

I actually like Neo Queen Serenity’s silver hair since that is in line with the manga

also NQS that ring does not look like the ring Mamoru gave you in Stars so I’m gonna assume on their like 500th wedding anniversary he gave her a new one to match her silver and white aesthetic because he respects her commitment to this color palette

once again I think Toei pooled their animation budget towards the later episodes because this one looks good

also I never understood why NQS lost most of her powers

it just felt like a weird thing to have happen

luckily in this version Chibi-Moon is actually powerful, the gag of Pink Sugar Heart Attack being so weak in the 90s anime was funny but at the same time I thought it would have been nice to give her maybe a new attack that gets something done

also my video keeps buffering and its annoying

when you ignore the vocal distortion the way Death Phantom talks does a good job in showcasing why one of Steve Kramer’s biggest roles is Darkonda from Power Rangers, I just wish WIseman’s voice didn’t sound so kindly even though again I know that was done on purpose for a reason

“I am the pretty guardian trainee!” and today is her first day so try to be understanding

Chibi-Usa really did grow a lot in this arc, and unlike the 90s anime its not reset so we can get more of her being a little shit

honestly I don’t blame Usagi for wanting to see NQS, I’d wanna see how I’m gonna look when I’m older too

I also see this as a good example of how NQS deep down is still Usagi because she’s the one who comes running to see her

Sailor Moon is like “damn I’m gonna be a total MILF”

this dub is great

like this is a nice scene, but seriously two second after it ends she comes tumbling back

yes Mamoru you will see her again, you have no idea how soon that will actually be

they kept the doodle of NQS on her letter (I’d like to think she puts that on all her stationary)

and I love her giving the little peace sign

so that was the dub for Sailor Moon Crystal and despite some voices for minor characters I’m happy with it. I still feel very special over the fact that I met Robbie Daymond and Johnny Yong Bosch this year and having experienced their work in the dub it makes me happier about it. I remember for the longest time I dreamed of Sailor Moon getting a remake closer to the manga and being dubbed over again and both felt like total pipe dreams because for years Toei just sat on this property. even if Crystal isn’t everything I wanted, I’m happy it exists. I’m happy its quality is rising with each season and even though we have to wait until 2018 for the Dream Arc just the fact that we’re getting that season and Stars feels great. now is such a great time to be a Sailor Moon fan. I remember what it was like before the 20th anniversary celebration, at Anime Boston you were lucky to find merchandise that wasn’t bootleg or fanmade. now there’s a surplus of stuff, I see so many wonderful cosplayers every year, and I also see new fans. I feel so happy seeing kids and teenagers get into it because it means this is fresh for them, this is them experiencing it for the first time and they won’t be subjected to the bad slang, mischaracterization, and homophobia from the old dub. I just find it so heartwarming to know the series is thriving because I love it so much and even if there’s things in it that are weird or don’t make sense, I will always go back to it. its that special.

so now we wait for season three and venture off to Victorian era London where a legend began, tune in next time for “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure”
