yuurollo cuddle thoughts...

When Yuurollo start dating Yuu probably sleeps over in Rollo's room whenever they visit. At first Rollo was probably embarrassed and even insisted that either of them sleep on the couch instead, but over time he got used to it

Rollo is used to his bed feeling cold and empty, the only heat in his room coming from the fireplace. He didn't enjoy sleep. He slept because he had to, he could never leave his bed fast enough in the morning. But ever since Yuu had started staying with him, Rollo had gotten used to the feeling of another body flush against his own.

He's gotten used to the warmth Yuu's body exudes and he's gotten used to Yuu's arms wrapping around him loosely and yet securely. Sleep no longer feels like an obligation, it's gentle and quiet. When he awakes in the morning he is tempted to close his eyes and drift back to sleep as he hears Yuu's heartbeat, feeling safe in Yuu's arms.

Rollo is now used to the comfort, warmth, and stability that Yuu's presence brings, he almost takes it for granted once he's gotten so used to it. He doesn't remember what life was like before he had Yuu in his arms.

But when Yuu has to leave to go back to NRC—when Yuu has to leave him—that warmth disappears along with him. Rollo was used to the emptiness of his bed, he was used to hearing the sounds of the crackling fireplace. But he's had a taste of something more, and now he finds it nearly unbearable to live without.
