Something I found today.
Ya know... I don't hate this.
I'm just... baffled that this is officially licensed merchandise.
#youtooz#hatsune miku#my life as a teenage robot#like... it's not exactly off putting#but i'm not happy about it either#it's just: here's a thing that exists now#i think it's the fanart-ness of it#not that fanart is a bad thing of course#but when the fanart becomes 'real' it puts it in a weird place for me#like an unspoken rule has been broken#and i just don't like youtooz#i don't *dislike* them per say but i have never been moved by one of their figures#even funko has figures that I like (mostly from their paka paka line)#but there has never been a youtooz product that I've been even a little thrilled about#that's a lie. there is exactly ONE youtooz that i thought was a little cute and it was coppy#but that's in spite of the youtooz style#coppy is literally a copy machine with googly eyes#so there was nothing for them to really caricature
