it’s so messed up that trainees give up years of their childhood working so hard to debut, and then nowadays companies give up after a year if they don’t achieve instant success? you should’ve never debuted groups in the first place then…

#I know these smaller agencies want to achieve stáyc 2.0 or loooona 2.0 but like that’s gonna take some work #even though staŷc were lucky and went viral with their first comeback the famous (and clearly better . lmao) producer was putting their a #game into the group and promoting them hard?#ryan jhun just gave them two title track promotions spread out over a year #the second did sell very poorly but considering the first did well clearly there was an audience ??#and if companies want to achieve looona 2.0 besides the fact that I don’t think it possible that requires tiiime #and creativity #did bbc abandon group plans when vivid sold like 700 copies and 1/3 could only afford like two music show attendances?#no but hot issue disbanded after a year. they did seem to have resources #two lghtsm members were cut after 14 months #bgaboo debuted 13 months ago #do they really expect mega fandoms to appear within less than a year from nothing ??#even billllie which had a viral moment didn’t build up a mega fandom yet and they even have sm entertainment connections #this was a vanity project for ryan jhun I guess and when it got slightly too inconvenient for him he abandoned them #the industry has sped up and the over saturation especially among girl groups is through the roof #i think the reason smaller bgs last slightly longer is bc companiesb don’t expect the instant vitality #*virality girl groups can get from them #so those super suspicious small companies might not risk debuting boys at all #and if they do they’re aware it’s a higher input project I guess…:/#but that didn’t stop rain from abandoning ciiiipher just like that bc they were an inconvenience to him
