Belated shoutout to my seat neighbour on the plane who asked me about my NASA patch, told me about his grandson who wants to be an astrophysicist, and then spent the plane ride watching ted lasso
#no-one usually asks me about my nasa patch because its so normal and easy to get nasa swag and also i did see it to my backpack before i had#even a glimmer i would do nasa-adjacent work (like i hoped but i was in HS)#i still do want to get one of the new CSA patches to sew beside it#i somehow have more esa swag than csa and they pay for most of my activities
