Ramil Basilio Ragasa of Loudwater College of Lore Bard and Freelance Playwright

In my limited independent years, I've made my way along the Sword Coast and have met my fair share of colourful personalities; Not to mention my own kin and their sheer numbers... Yet, none quite as strange and intriguing as those of my travelling companions.

Still, in a world where I'm sure to find ample resources in pursuit of a cure to this condition on my own, there is something about this motley crew I can't help but be drawn to. For all their prickly personalities, there is a surprising but unmistakable sense of fondness I feel for these acquaintances. Be it endearment or desperation, still yet to be determined.

For whatever may lie ahead, I do hope that, if anything were to happen to me, this record of events finds its way to the Ragasa estate in Loudwater.

Raleigh finds himself surrounded by towers of books; buried so deep that he does not notice his brother, Danni, slip into the room and slide an opened envelope onto his desk.

The handwriting was unmistakable, but also penmanship whose absence he had grown accustomed to. Leigh's older cousin, Indigo, had moved away from her family home when she turned 16 and hasn't attended a single family gathering since. Still, she kept in touch with their side of the family, as infrequent as her letters were.

Leigh took a moment away from his textbooks to breathe.

Glancing out the window to the sun setting in the west. He wondered if Indigo was doing well in her new town.

Hello~ Raleigh was one of those OCs I made originally to provide lore support for Danni, but then went off and became an entity of his own. He is very likely the one member of the family who is purely interested in studying arcana and only arcana.

While Symon is interested in learning chemistry and alchemy and Kahlen is interested in healing techniques, Raleigh seeks to learn how to manipulate the powers of the runes to form spells and cast them at will. He hopes to be able to study in the capitol city where the larger facilities of study exist.

Raleigh has been aged up from 15 -> 19, but has perpetual baby face. He's set to beat his brother in height, but will eternally be kind of lanky and lean, rather than bulky and hearty like Danni. He's currently in his last year or so of core secondary study before he focuses on sending inquiries to Academies in the study of arcana. As a small town boy, he doesn't have too much hope that he'll catch too many eyes, but hopefully he can squeeze his way in.

Okagoro of Tethyr Storm Sorcerer and Wanderer

Call me sentimental, but I've never met a group of people as eccentric as they and it is credit to that that I've kept their companionship for as long as I have and for as loud as they are, day-in, day-out. Still, I find myself quite fortunate to have cross paths with dearest Halsin after all these years. It is a relief to see a familiar face, and in all truthfulness his safety and wellbeing is very much due to the graciousness of these new companions.

Since the day I was cursed with this brain parasite, I've fought a recurring daze and lapse in memory of my prior days and even moreso than the threat of being turned into a mind flayer, I fear forgetting. And so I recall and recant my memories in ink on paper and hope that if death does become me or that I lose myself, perhaps a stranger or a friend may preserve that who I was in what is written on these pages.
