Bologna: “Un jour nouveau | Birthday Party” al Teatro Arena del Sole
Tumblr media
Birthday Party Coreografia Angelin Preljocaj; musica 79D; additional music Anton Bruckner, Józef Plawiński, Paul Williams, Lee Hazlewood, Johann-Sebastian Bach, Maxime Loaëc, Craig Armstrong, Stinky Toys; luci Eric Soyer; costumi Eleonora Peronetti; assistenti alla coreografia Claudia De Smet, Macha Daudel; danzatori Mario Barzaghi, Sabina Cesaroni, Patricia Dedieu, Roberto Maria Macchi, Elli Medeiros, Thierry Parmentier, Marie-Thérèse Priou, Bruce Taylor.
Tumblr media Tumblr media

Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media

IMPACT 28
This will be all of the same consumers to put the hand in the portfolio to pay the bio products more expensive, even if they are less dangerous for their health and the health of farmers.
“We must accept to pay more expensive our food, slice the agricultural economist Bruno Parmentier. Currently, the prices are far too low and do not cover the costs of production. We must find a fair price. And the EU must help us by an ambitious plan.” Another idea received: the bio products are only to the scope of the richest. There are several ways to find at lower cost: to go to the market, buy in bulk, cook raw food rather than of the prepared dishes, buy directly from producers, etc. The more efficient remains to change their eating habits. To meet the needs of the planet in 2050, “We will have to find in our plates two times less meat and dairy products than in those of 2010. There will also be less sugar and more vegetables, cereals, legumes, fruits and fruit and hull”, according to a report of the Institute Solagro. On 21 November, the Commission “fishing” of the European Parliament has voted for the electric fishing is permitted in the North Sea. The electric fishing stuns the fish and crustaceans that go back then to the surface and are caught in the nets. “Stun” must be taken in its meaning the more violent. Many fish are broken and skinned. But this is not yet the more serious. This fishery perfectly cleans the seabed. In any predatory technical traditional, the prey has always its chance, even if it is low. With the electric fishing, the marine organism has no more. It is out of the predation to go to the extermination. This way of fish is that is so destructive that it is prohibited everywhere in the world (even in China, since 2000), the same title that fishing by explosive or by poisoning. The Europe made jumper to share. It is when even a fills. The electric fishing was there yet prohibited until 2006. This year, the Netherlands have obtained a derogation to equip 5 per cent of their fleet with this technology. They quickly showed their bad faith in largely exceeding their quota, which now leads to face trial. The Dutch shipowner which weapon its vessels approximates the hunter in the Sunday by the an obscene way to justify it. The Hunter of the sunday said that it kills the animal because he loves. The Dutch shipowner wants to sterilize the funds of the North Sea for ecological reasons. You have read. The electric fishing, much more effective that industrial fishing usual, allows you to save of the diesel fuel – which help to keep the commitments of the Paris Agreements and… to substantially increase the profits. Such cynicism is staggering. With regard to the artisan fishermen who find themselves unemployed because of a lack of fish, they had of course to be in the sense of history, that is to say of the capital. The results of this Vote leave open-mouthed: 23 votes for, 3 against. Three members only have been refractory. It is appalling. That hypercapitalistes predators are ready to destroy the world to enrich itself is one thing. That of Democratic States endorse the apocalyptic ambitions of these is pathetic. How to explain such a slap in the face for the reason and fairness? By calculations interested who fail both the collective interest and the respect of the animal, but also by a phenomenal stupidity in the short term and the iniquitous strategies that result. All is not yet lost. The vote of the European Parliament is indicative only. The latter therefore has the opportunity to redeem themselves – because a democracy which tolerates the barbarism is no longer a democracy, and this form of fishing is barbaric and awful. The date of the final vote comes to be fixed: on 16 January. Talk about precipitation before that the opponents can mobilize effectively is obviously that pure speculation. How much would it cost to farmers? It is known, the FNSEA is opposed to the judgment of the glyphosate. At least in the short term, as long as the science will not have found a substitute equivalent. “The prohibition of the herbicide would cost EUR 2 billion per year to the French farmers”, the purchase price of the pesticide deducted, says Eric Thirouin, the Deputy Secretary General of the Union. For the specialized institutes, the cost would reach 967 million euros per year for the producers of the major crops, mainly cereals, and approximately one billion euros per year for the grape growers. In CAUSE: On the one hand, the reduction of yields because “the weed management will be less effective,” explains Thirouin. On the other hand, “those who do not plow will have to equip themselves and have recourse to more manpower. And there is going to have to buy other herbicides which will be less effective and more expensive”. On the side of the Coop de France, which brings together more than 3 000 cooperative enterprises of the agricultural world, it advocates “a renewal for a few years” and, at the same time, “a mobilization in terms of research of alternative solutions. For that it does not leave us all alone in the middle of the Ford, stresses Pascal for distillation, General Delegate of this Union. Glyphosate is a tool included in our modes of production. Without him, a performance in decline would imply the turnover figures lower.” Harold Levrel has, him, pulled out his calculator. Verdict: “At European level, the spending of producers for crop protection products are estimated at EUR 150 per hectare in the conventional and EUR 50 per hectare in the BIO.” It recognizes that: “an abandonment of glyphosate would result in a decrease in yields of 25% to 30%. But this decline would be offset by the price of BIO 30 per cent higher than those of the conventional on the world markets. And this figure takes into account a higher margin for the farmer.” In this context, the move is completed this week in Africa by the President Macron has a particular dimension: in Ouagadougou, he recalled the commitment of France for the access of all to the health, insisting on the importance and the constancy of the contribution of France to the Global Fund Against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. He has set a road map, and a method for the development of health systems and quality infrastructure in Africa, with the mobilization of private financing French. It is in this new and ambitious path that all development actors, public authorities, parliamentarians, French Development Agency, expertise France, associative actors, private investors and civil society, will have to commit to make the question of development financing and a priority of the next few years. To go to the urgency to the resilience, for that structure themselves at the level of each State systems of effective solidarity which make the aid lapse, without doubt we will need time. A phase of transition is still necessary. It requires the means increased. Imagination, creation and audacity Has us to be imaginative, creative and bold in order to be able to raise the issues of global health. Because it is a vital emergency that we will mobilize to imagine new modalities of action and innovative financing. And suddenly, in 2008, the decision was imposed to him. While it used pesticides in his plots since its installation four years earlier – of herbicides for weed control for corn and wheat; fungicides for cereals -, Vivien Grandin has felt “in contradiction with its principles”. Then he has chosen to gradually reduce the use of inputs, these phytosanitary products and other fertilizers, before the stop completely in 2014. “As we had decided no longer to plow or very little to save time and diesel, we used from time to time of glyphosate, the herbicide Roundup of Monsanto. Less than most of the farms, but when the same…” In France, the use of glyphosate by the communities in the spaces open to the public is prohibited since 1 January 2017, and his employment by individuals will be prohibited from 2019. In the world, facing the boom of the environmental and health problems, other restrictions have seen the light of day under the guise of the precautionary principle. The Pool Scene - Henrik Larsson, Jennifer Barretta, Vilmos Foldes - World Pool Billiard

LARSSON LEAVES LITTLE DOUBT
Wheelchair world champ shines along with Brits, Filipinos and Finns on a tough Day 1 at  the World Pool Series in New York.
4-time World 9-ball Wheelchair Champion Henrik Larsson of Sweden advanced to the final 64 at the Molinair Players Championship in New York.

(New York City)–England’s Darren Appleton promised his fellow players that his new World Pool Series would give the players exactly what they’ve always wanted; a players’ centered tour with rules and a setup designed to test the world’s best pool players to the limits of their skills.
If the results of Day 1 of the tour’s first event, the Molinari Players Championship, are any indication, that promise has already been fulfilled.
Long races, pockets at a stingy 4.25 inches, breaking outside the center box, having to “take what you make” on the break, 3-foul rule, shootouts on hill-hill matches, and single elimination; these tweaks to traditional 8-ball rules all came together Saturday to prove that the world’s most popular cue game can truly be a hardcore test of pool.
The USA’s Jennifer Baretta was one of two women players to win their matches against the men in New York today.
In a long grind of a day at New York’s famed Steinway Billiards in Queens that began at 10am and ended past midnight, 56 matches were completed with nearly the half the field already being shown the exit into the cold New York night.(8 top seeded players received byes.) The field is now down to the last 64.
With some matches taking over three hours to complete, it’s clear that stamina and patience will be of utmost importance. So will talent. Don’t expect any pretenders to make a claim on the $20,000 first prize to be handed out on Tuesday night.
It’s perform or take a hike, and even then there’s no guarantee, as American pool great Johnny Archer found out.  Archer and Finland’s unheralded Kim Laaksonen engaged in a back and forth battle, until the Finn pulled away at the end for a hard fought 13-11 win.
Laaksonen’s win wasn’t the only good news for Finland today and bad news for the USA. Petri Makkonen took down the USA’s Mike Dechaine by an identical score line. Both Finns move on while both highly regarded Americans are out.
Another Finnish player also advanced this time in dramatic fashion. Matti Väyrynen’s match with Frenchman Pierre Palmieri went to 12-12, and the two engaged in a thrilling shootout, will both potting pressure packed spot shots on the 8-ball until the Finn came out on top.
With a large field of Americans it certainly wasn’t all doom and gloom for the USA. Rodney Morris, Earl Strickland, Jeremy Jones, Max Eberle, Shaun Wilkie, Raphael Debreo and Jennifer Barretta all advanced.
Barretta was one of four women players entered into the field and one of two to make it through, along with Norway’s Line Kjorsvik.
Hungary’s Vilmos Foldes emerged victorious after a tough slog against the Philippines Francisco Bustamante.
Appleton’s idea is to showcase the very best talent from all facets of the game, and this led to several wheelchair players being entered into the field, perhaps a first for professional pool. In what will surely be one of the feel good stories of year, Sweden’s Henrik Larsson, a four time WPA World 9-ball Champion wheelchair player, defeated able bodied Canadian Eric Horlfieson 13-9 to advance to the final 64. Larsson, who once had a run of 97 balls in straight pool, is a marvel to watch up close as he exhibits top tier position play and a super confident demeanor.
Fans looking for betting angles might want to pay attention to the British contingent over the next few days. The British lads, most of whom first cut their cue playing chops playing English 8-ball, put in solid performances today. 2010 World 8-ball Champion Karl Boyes handily defeated Ireland’s Sean Hoey, 13-3. 2-time English 8-ball world champion Chris Melling made a solid return to American pool with a 13-8 win over France’s Vincent Faquet. Imran Majid and Mark Gray all pulled through nicely. With Appleton and white hot Jayson Shaw getting byes, the Brits are almost sure to go deep into the championship.
The always strong Filipino contingent performed well today. Dennis Orcollo, Johan Chua, Lee Vann Corteza, Israel Rota and veteran Ramil Gallego all advanced with solid wins. The only Filipino of note to stumble was Hall of Famer Francisco Bustamante. Bustamante lost a hard fought slog with Hungary’s Vilmos Foldes, 13-11.
Play continues at Steinway Billiards on Sunday beginning at 10am Eastern Time(GMT -5) with the round of 64 and 32. The last 16 and quarterfinals will be played on Monday. The semi-final and final will be held on Tuesday.
