BIG AL's pose in his standard boxart is a reference to the hentai bara manga Kuso Miso Technique, also known as Yaranaika. This was meant for the personal amusement of his illustrator, Ash, but Japanese fans noticed the reference and proceeded to often reference it in songs with BIG AL.
