HI QUESTION what exactly is the random card au !! it seems so cool & id rlly love 2 know what the general concept is !!

HAI basically it's just a bandori au where I randomly generated a card for each character and then built a world and stories based off of the cards I got! I saw someone talk abt the idea on a much smaller scale since bandori has a lot of cards with fun themes that give a lot to work with, and I was initially just gonna do several pairs of 2 each with their own mini au, but then I just mushed them all together into one so there's a lot going on now gkfmdjf

#rat answers #band posting #random card au #just to be clear when I say I made the storues based off the cards I rolled understand that I mean that in my own messed up brain way #which basically means some of my plot points for characters absolutely do not follow from the cards in a sensical way because Im like that #they make sense in my heart #also fun fact I considered adding some sekai characters at some point for the funsies but alas sekai cards do not give nearly as much to #work with as bndori cards so I decided aginst it #ena and akito both do semi exist in this au still for. reasons.#just I didnt roll a card for ena and just used her lower one since she has what like. 4 cards I could have feasably worked with?#akito doesnt have many either but its ok hes a baker now it doesnt rly matter #again neither of them rly come up in the main plots but they exist ig #ena is somewhat relevant to some worldbuilding stuff tho #if you have any other questions feel free to ask this au has been living rent free in my brain for months now gkgkdjf
