Repost: `A Tale of Brethil Forest´ - Personal Painting 2018-2022. I'm not allowed to show anything I'm currently working on and I have no time to work on any private paintings at the moment. That's why here's another nice making-of video for you from 'A Tale of Brethil Forest'. 🧝♀️🌱🧝♂️🌿
`Healing Hands´.
- Private Commission 2022 - The role of the healers in an army camp is not insignificant. Without them, the battle would quickly be over. To honor them and their work I was commissioned paint this picture of 8 LARP-Characters. Here we see the Elvish healers and patients (From left to right): Yasarion&Lirael, Andewyn&Naewe&Eldariel&Cruaron, Thalafileg&Cuthaldir.🧝♀️🧝🌿
'Ride on! Ride on!' cried Glorfindel, and then loud and clear he called to the horse in the elf-tongue: noro lim, noro lim, Asfaloth!´- For Glorfindel the Elf.- A few of my paintings are now also available in my InPrnt and RedBubble shops. (links here: www.linestyle-artwork.de/shop ) I'm about to fill it up. Maybe you want to have a look? :)
📣 Psst!: XMas sale in my shops! Until November 19th, 2023 there is a 25% discount on all items (except originals) in my Etsy and Inprint shop. Are you still looking for a nice Christmas present for yourself or your loved ones? Maybe you'll find what you're looking for.🎄🎨
☘'Elven Mandala' ☘ - Artwork for McOnis 2022. A real LARP coin was minted from this design. Would also make a good coloring book page, right? What do you think?
"A Tale of Brethil Forest" - Personal Work 2018-2022
- Erandor, young Jaquar & Maradá -
Long time no see....In these dire and tragic times, we sometimes need a place to escape to for distraction....even if it's only fictional. That is what I did for the last three weeks. For me, this escape consists of my little family (which luckily is not fictitious at all! ), my work, which takes me to so many wonderful and imaginative places, and the world of my elven character "Jaquar". Jaquar is my tragic roleplaying hero originally from a tabletop roleplaying group, set in the world of J.R.R. Tolkien´s ´Silmarillion`. Unfortunately, the group was parted without our characters found an end or having achieved any goal. But Jaquar gave me so much joy, heartache, tears and sleepless nights that I've rewritten his story and dedicated a whole personal project to him since last year. But although two friends are already supporting me, it will probably be a long time before I can show anything. It all happens alongside work and I don't get to do it very often. Nevertheless, I'm happy every time I find the time to work on the project again. So I've finally finished this picture, which I started back in the days of the role-playing group...and which I haven't finished until now. It shows Jaquar and his family, who had their home in the (then it was still Tolkien's "Brethil") forest. Jaquar, his father Erandor and his mother Maradá were able to experience peace and happiness there for a few years...until fate had something else in mind for them....to be continued..... 😉
