The sight of Elodie alone was always enough to make Deidre prickle angrily. This time was no different. When her eyes landed on the other girl, her face heated up and she felt that all too familiar sting of... jealousy. It made her mouth fill with venom. She tilted her head, smile on her face more wicked than any scowl somehow. "Elodie," she sing-songed the name, pretending like they were best friends, just for a moment. "I need to speak with you."

Something I’m very curious about in neverafter now is the concept of names, particularly the stepmother’s name. She gave it up for more power or agency, but I’d also like to look at the other character's names. Gerard is just a name for this game, we all know him as The Frog Prince. Same with Rosamund, she’s just Sleeping Beauty. The Disney version of her has a completely different name. Ylfa is just little red! Timothy Goose is just Mother Goose, Timothy is a completely contrived name. Pib just stands for Puss in Boots, it’s not a name. The only one with a truly established name I would say is pinocchio. And in other works, the stepmother has a name, in arguably the most well known one she’s called Lady Tremaine. Even someone like Cinderella, that’s her cruel nickname. Is Snow White even a name? The little mermaid? Elody was just “the princess with the golden ball.” The princes have just been “the prince” or “Prince Charming.” The names were used to kill the children’s fathers. The fairies are just named for their deeds or their hair. What’s in a name? What’s really in a name?

- Deidre has had years and years of vocal lessons so she's actually quite good at singing. When she was younger she'd use her singing as her talent when entering beauty competitions. Now she uses it as a quick thing to impress people with when opportunity arises. She'll occasionally sing for her fans on TikTok as well. - Deidre is a matcha girl. She starts each day with an Iced Matcha Latte. It fuels her and gets her ready to face the day. She's also a fan of matcha pastries and ice cream. Really, though, Deidre's a fan of her greens, as she likes her green vegetables, too. - Yoga and Pilates are Deidre's exercises of choice. She does them each a couple times a week in order to stay in shape and keep active and healthy. She'll occasionally throw in a spin cycle or Zumba class too for funsies. - Deidre takes her job as a Social Media Influencer very seriously. She posts content every day religiously. It's part of her routine by now. She posts OOTDs, Product Reviews, Get Ready With Me snippets, and other little peeks into her every day life. She's actually done really well at making a career out of it by getting sponsorships and doing collabs, etc. - Deidre adores spending time with like-minded people who are intelligent and easy to talk to. It's one of the rare times one sees a relaxed and at-ease, smiling, kind Deidre. It's inferior and stupid people that annoy her and keep her on edge. - Yes, Deidre does have a heart. She donates a lot of stuff to shelters for women in need, and she actually does love her family deep down even though she acts annoyed with Anastasia most of the time. She's just picky and choosey about where and when she lets her heart be shown. - The fact that Elodie is more talented with magic than she or her sister absolutely infuriates Deidre. It makes her so jealous, and that jealousy makes her so angry she can't see straight. She's treated Elodie absolutely awful as a result. Deidre practices her magic every day just to be half as good, and it makes her crazy.

Platonic Connections: Friends for Deidre please! She is a mean girl, but she does like her friends. I think. We could def have some interesting dynamics! Former Romantic Connections: Exes are always fun and interesting to play! Deidre is definitely hard to please and very materialistic so it's easy to see why some relationships did not work out in the past. Hook Ups/FWB Connections: While Deidre does require you take her out on a date before she sleeps with you, that's about all you'll get out of her "dating" wise. She's pretty much only interested in keeping things casual while she builds her social media presence. Romantic Connection: I'm not gonna lie, this would be a tough one. First off I never push or pressure ships, but more than that, with Deidre she's very resistant to romance. It could be interesting to see someone trying hard to break down her walls and love the real her, but just don't get your hopes up that it'll be easy. Familial Connection: Veronica Tremaine!! Complete the Tremaine family! She's such an interesting parent to play and there could be so much fun had. Assistant Connection: Deidre's assistant. They get yelled at a lot and aren't treated the best, but the pay is... decent. Plus you get all the pr products that she doesn't want to use after reviewing them.
