Part 2 of the Wayne's New Butler's Apprentice au!

Context: Somehow, for one reason or another Billy manage to get taken in by Alfred to work under his wings as the Wayne’s new butler apprentice. Everything is well until it was revealed to Billy that he was working under Bruce (even Bruce is shocked). Now, both Billy and Bruce (who had been co-workers for more than a year and knows each others secret identities), must try their best to work together (while also pretending not to know each other) in an effort to hide Billy’s secret identity as Captain Marvel. Shenanigans ensues.

Some time had passed since Billy had started to work under the Wayne family, and Damian is convinced, no he knows that Billy is hiding something, however for as hard as he tried to pry into the truth, more questions just seems to pop up.

Damian, who had learn from his past few adventures that he can’t always solve a problem on his own, had decided to seek the wise advice of his most trusted alley-

Damian: Dick!

Dick: Gasppp! How could you? After all we have been through? I can’t believe my own little brother, my own flesh and blood (not true) would call me in such,,, such a vile word! *falls dramatically _:(´ཀ`」∠):_

Damian: ...(눈‸눈)

Damian: Rich-

Dick: Aw c'mon lil' d, you can just call me Dic-

Damian : 🪓ι(ʘ言ʘ╬)

... *it was a mistake.

Damian's plight against his annoying big brother

Dick after getting severely beat up.

Dick : :'( Lil'd you don't have to hit me that hard~

Damian: Di- Rich- Grayson! Listen, I have come here to seek for your advice.

Dick : :D

Damian: ... *turns around

Damian: In retrospect, this is a mistake.

Dick : No wait! Come back.

After listening in to Dick's advice, Damian is finally ready to confront his suspicion.

Dick (flashback) : listen here lil'd, if you want to learn more about other people, you need to open up first!

Damian: William!

Billy who had been washing the dishes and is unaware that Damian had been staring at him for the past 20 min : Holey mo -

(Dick secretly in the corner, stalking his brother(s), whispers : you can do it lil- )

Damian: I am robin.

Billy : -oley shit!

Dick, who meant by 'opening up' as in tell him “you like drawing or smth”, and definitely not expecting Dami to suddenly share the family secret: Σ(꒪ȏ꒪)👻

Santa Robin

Damian : I am Robin

Billy (internally) : AAAA! Okay, okay.. fuck! Do. Not. Panic! Mister Bruce had enticipated that this might happend, I-, uhh,, what did he teach me again?

Flashback, Billy and Bruce are hiding somewhere inside the mansion...

Bruce : Remember Billy, telling the truth is always better than to prolonged a lie, but in your situation telling the truth is not really an option.

Billy :*taking notes

Bruce: To provide an alternative truth, all you have to do is fine a real life general truth to make a possible truth statement, therefore you won’t exactly have to create a whole new fabricated lie,

Bruce *taking Billy's note out of his hand : and whenever you do tell a general truth to create an alternate truth you must never leave any incriminating evidence.

Bruce tears Billy's note : That note can be use as evidence against you. Understood?

Billy * nodding. (◞‸◟*)

Present

Billy thinking: Uhh he told me to tell the truth? No, wait, the alternative truth? But isn't alternative truth basically lying? (Wonder woman agreed!) Wait does that mean that whole lecture was a way for Batman to teach him how to-

Billy : lie?!

Damian *shock

Damian: Excuse you?!

Billy : Uh, sir! can you pls tell me an example of general truth?

Bruce: oh! ( ་ ⍸ ་ )... Santa.. He.. is not real.

Billy (a ten year old) : (ʘᗩʘ’) Wait, wha-

Billy *sobbing : He- he isn't real! He was never real! (PД`q｡) he is just a stupid lie that parents like to tell to their kids!

Billy *still sobbing : you should had known that fact by now! What are you? A- an 8 year old!

Damian: ..
