Yknow I hate it when I order food at a restaurant and there’s something in it that was never mentioned on the menu (especially when it’s something I can’t eat).
#Based on a true story#the restaurant workers were nice but god damn the menu really should’ve had more information#eating at restaurants is a nightmare when you have sensory issues+trouble swallowing#I’m getting really tired of having to ask one million questions so I can figure out wether or not I can actually eat something because#the menus keep on omitting information#and when they don’t I automatically assume they are omitting information since I’m so used to that#seriously how hard is it to just tell people what's in your food#fyi the reason I made this post was because I ordered chicken at a restaurant and it came with sauce#that was not mentioned at all on the menu#even though it should've been#everything was covered in this sauce and I literally could barely eat any of it#and what made it worse is that I had asked about the ingredients in the salad before and the dressing was never mentioned once#like seriously how hard is it to mention that everything on this dish is fucking coated in ranch dressing or whatever that sauce was#also this doesn't just affect autistic people#what about religious people with dietary restrictions and people with allergies?
