I've been listening to hours and hours of music, so I've got a music diary update! I've been exploring a bit, there's definitely a tonal shift with this one. The first four are power metal, fifth and sixth are melodeath mix, Blackbriar is a new favorite and they are gothic/symphonic rock/metal (and their stuff is very pretty and movie worthy...like genuinely just check them out), and the last three are gen/mix:

#waterfall is another stim one that makes me feel euphoric #like the energy and the way it builds and builds and builds and it blows my mind #amorphis is a combination of power metal and melodeath so it's like a transition song on the list #epica is really hit or miss with me #bc of blackbriar i think i need to check out gothic rock and metal more #those heavy guitar riffs in animals are soooo good so im going to check out more of architects stuff soon #dynazty is a new favorite too i like the majority of their stuff along with blackbriar #i already had a lot of their stuff saved but forgot to in depth check them out until now and i love them #i found myself liking the trifecta of dynazty amaranthe and cyhra only to find out it's bc they have a lot of movement between them #i was getting similar vibes bc it's the same people in cases #even if you dont like metal you'll like blackbriar they are light and pretty and melodic (and a bit haunting i like it 👀)#anyways ive listened to more music in the past few weeks than i did in the past eight years before this #im beginning to really figure out what i like now getting into all the sub genres #music diary #p
