Dwen Reviews: Trolls/Trolls 2 World Tour
Aight, so i knew of the first movie for a while now and i only saw negative feedback on it by critics, so i never bothered to watch it, but i've changed and i don't go by the critics say anymore so i watched those two movies by myself, and what did i thought of it?
I found the two movies FANTASTIC!
I'mma give my thoughts on the first one first, obviously, *ahem*
Things that i liked:
1: The characters are pretty likeable i would say, especially Branch, his pessimistic personality clashes well with the rest of the characters and it's great.
2: I liked the music they used, the two original songs were good too.
3: The animation is great actually, love the colors and how different each character is!
4: There was quite a bit of dark humor there and didn't expect it at all but i liked it.
5: I like the message and it's honestly a pretty good one!
Things that i didn't like:
1: Kinda sad that we didn't see much of the lives of the Burgens but at the same time, didn't like them much besides some exceptions like The Chef.
2: I wish more things had happened, the journey felt a bit too small.
3: Wish there were more original songs.
Very minor nitpicks as you can see, overall i liked this movie, I'd give it a 7/10.
But Trolls 2 World Tour?! I FUCKING LOVED IT, I found it much better than the first one in fact!
Things that i liked:
1: Queen Barb.
2: Here the journey is much bigger because they explore the world more and i really liked it.
3: Queen Barb.
4: Branch still keeping his personality is great.
5: Queen Barb.
6: The fact that there's a lot of trolls of different music genres is really fun, mostly because well im a sucker for music.
7: QUEEN BARB.
8: I found the message here to be slightly better than in the first movie because people need to realize no music genre is superior to others.
9: QUEEN, F R I C K I N G, BARB!!!!
Sorry i just love her.
Things that i didn't like:
1: How Branch is grey again(i think he is).
2: How the Hard Rock Trolls were portrayed as evil, implying that people who like rock and metal are evil, but to be fair they just had to choose a genre to be evil and rock is the most rebel one out of them so i see why they did it.
That's it actually, even less nitpicks.
I give it a 9/10, i might be in the minority here, but i really enjoyed the two of them!

Dwen Reviews: Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!
yeah imma be doing reviews on things that i like from now on, in case you didn't know i like to give my thoughts on things, can't remember if i did something like this before, but LETS GO!
Eizouken ni wa Te o Dasu Na! / Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! has got to be one of my favorite animes of all time, without any exaggeration whatsoever.
It breaks the mold on what people normally view anime as, don't get me wrong, i like Shounen, but i've seen so fucking many of them that there's nothing new you can do with them, so seeing a anime like Eizouken is more refreshing than taking a cold bath after running on a hot ass day.
Things that i liked:
1: For once, FOR FUCKING ONCE, THE GIRLS ARE NOT OVERSEXUALIZED, ITS A MIRACLE!!! sadly though, it still won't stop people from making porn of it, oh well...
2: Talking about the girls, i love all of em, however i feel like Muzusaki is underrated, all art ive seen of her so far is just her with Asakusa and Kanamori or being gay for Kanamori, sometimes Asakusa, well i love that shit but cmon gimme more sole Mizusaki content! well, after the last episode i think more people will start appreciating her, which is good.
3: THE ANIMATION THO? THE FUCKIN ANIMATION THO?!?!?!?
4: None of the girls are neurotypical(you cant tell me otherwise) which is great!
5: The way that they describe animation while being in a anime is so fuckin meta and wholesome, i love it, and im sure the creators had a lot of fun!
Things that i didn't like:
0: NONE.
I can't think of any flaws whatsoever, this show is fucking perfect, and the people who made it knew EXACTLY wtf they were doing, i dare say, anime of the year, it honestly deserves it.
I give it a 10/10!

Dwen Reviews: Tangled The Series, A very late to the party watch
I am SO SORRY FOR BEING SO LATE TO THE PARTY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAOJEUEBUEONE.
Apparently this fandom has been alive for quite some time now, and i really am sorry for not getting to watch this show sooner, the past few days i been binge watching all seasons of the show and its SO SO GREAT, ITS MAJESTIC!!!
I am ashamed of myself because the series is ending tomorrow, AND I JUST GOT INTO THIS FANDOM, WTFFFFFFFF?!?! Talk about bad fucking luck, but anyways...
Things I liked:
1: The characters are all so fuckin great, especially Cassandra.
2: I love the animation, the lack of black lines make it unique.
3: I love that they included songs on the series too, since the movie had songs in it, and the songs fuckin SLAP!
4: I love that even if they do some filler episodes, the show still follows a continuity, so its not like the fillers are skippable, because everything that happens in them has some significance to later eps.
5: The comedy is fuckin great, and there was no fart joke, THANK GOD!
Things I Didn't Like:
0: None.
HOOOOOOO BOI! I've only been watching good shit lately! Man these shows really don't disappoint.
Again, I'm sorry for taking so long to actually sit down and watch this, and i feel like shit knowing it all ends tomorrow, however this show was really a ride for me, and i will always remember it, it earned its own place in my heart.
I give it a 10/10!

Dwen Reviews: Onward
i saw this movie yesterday, and tbh i got some mixed feelings on it, but i enjoyed it anyway, definitely not a waste of time.
It's not a masterpiece by any means, but i like that, because not everything has to be one, sometimes i just like to watch a decent movie, not to watch perfection y'know? but anyways, let's get this started!
Things that i liked:
1: COREY AAAAAAAAAAAA I LUV U, U SEXY BADASS MANTICORE LADY!!! Not only is she a lesbian, but she is trans too, like look at her hair, only male lions have manes, TRANSBIAN RIGHTS BABEY!!!(I swear im not a furry or monster fucker, but DAMN SHE'S BEAUTIFUL AND FUCKIN COOL).
2: Laurel is cool af too, badass mum.
3: I like the reason why magic slowly faded away over the years, because mastering magic takes a long time and people ain't got no time for that, so they invented technology which is much easier to use, as it doesn't require training.
4: The animation is pretty good!
5: The score was decent.
6: BARLEY, FUCKIN, LIGHTFOOT.
I can't express just how much i love this boy, i wanna protect him of all costs, his character is such a breath of fresh air, he's a rebel buff punk but yet he's not a comic relief because he's stupid af or whatever, neither is he an bully or an asshole, no, he's a fuckin NERD, a nerd obsessed with Dungeons and Dr- Uh, i mean, MAGIC! he also gives me big Jack Black vibes, also his whole backstory is sad AF, makes him a much deeper character. Yeah, i didn't expect his character to be this way, but i love the way he is.
7: The ending is emotional and depressing as shit, i loved it.
Things that i didn't like(HOOOO BOY, Here we go...):
1: I fuckign DESPISE the bootlicker propaganda in this movie, why is Laurel dating a fuckin cop?! I don't like Bronco at all, Laurel deserves better! *cough* Corey *cough cough*.
2: I...hate to say this, but...I didn't like Ian lmao, NOW HEAR ME OUT, HEAR ME OUT! The relationship he has with Barley? It's fantastic, i won't deny that, their sibling dynamic was nailed pretty well, especially when you see their past, BUT....If this movie was just about Ian? I would have fucking hated this movie tbh, because Ian is SO BORING. I've seen that character archetype of "Socially awkward and quirky twink casted by Tom Holland" way too many times already, and i wanted something new, which is why i LOVED Barley, plus, i feel like Ian was too much of an ass to Barley even though he was just trying to help, yes Ian later on realizes his mistakes, but still, Barley didn't deserve any of that. I also wanted to see Barley get more involved the action and stuff, because he's a huge fantasy nerd, and i would love to see him fuck around with magic and stuff.
3: Barley shrunk for no reason other than brief comic relief, which is a shame, i feel like he could have had some dialogue exchange with the pixies while tiny.
4: The lesbian cop? barely in this movie, which is disappointing because i had a tiny bit of hope that they were gonna prove me wrong and play a major role, BUT NOPE! they do one thing then lose relevance.
5: Maybe its just my sense of humor that is weird, but none of the jokes were really that funny for me, except for some, at least it didn't have any fart or burp jokes tho.
6: I wish this movie was a bit longer, i feel like they could of gone in more adventures, would like to see more of the magic in this world and how it works.
7: There's no villain in this movie, just a obstacle that appears in the end that the protags have to defeat, while some people may like that, i don't, wanna know why? well, im a sucker for villains, and a even bigger sucker for villain songs, but i get it i get it, not every movie has to have a antagonist, just a personal nitpick.
This movie was aight, im certainly glad i got to experience it, but don't think i would watch it over and over though.
I give it a 7/10.

Dwen Reviews: Ducktales(2017)
I've been sleeping on this one A LOT, it was released in 2017 but i only saw one episode of it, the first one i think, and then i stopped, and idk why because this show is fuckin AMAZING!
look, i never watched too many eps of the original Ducktales because i was born waayyyy later, 2002, and it had stopped airing for a while where i lived, so i was never really a fan of it, and only watched the reboot because i have been seeing it a lot on my Tumblr feed, so i gave it a try, and its SPECTACULAR!
Things that i liked:
1: Launchpad is my fuckin son.
2: I love how Dewey, Louie and Huey all have different personalities, Dewey gives me big Leonardo from ROTTMNT vibes, Louie gives me big Nakamori vibes and Huey...can't put my finger on who he reminds me of, but he a big nerd, love all of em, and love how their brotherhood is handled, the rivalry and love are balanced pretty well.
3: Launchpad is my fucking soN.
4: The animation is honestly pretty good!
5: lAuNcHpAd iS mY fUcKiNg sON.
6: The comedy is even better, i thought it was gonna be Teen Titans Go all over again, but its ACTUALLY funny, and there's NO fart or poop jokes at all, at least from what i remember.
7: LAUNCHPAD IS MY FUCKING S O N.
8: The adventures the characters go in are so fun to watch, each one is different than the last, i love the variety!
9: Lena.
10: LAUNCHPAD IS MY FUCKING S O N!!!!!.
Things that i didn't like:
Only two tiny things.
1: I'm sorry but all of the antagonists should be in jail by now, how do they get away with all the shit they do lmao?
2: The weakest episode for me was when a character lost their memory, im sorry but ive seen that trope too many times, and the only way i would like it, is if the character never actually recovered their memories, and became a new person for life, that would be cool because most that do are pretty bad people, sadly, this was not the case, it was still a good ep, but the weakest for me.
very few complaints, so yeah, overall i love this show, and can't wait for Season 3(whenever that comes out).
I give it a 10/10!
