The idea of making "Helen of Sparta" sounds SO GOOD in theory, but I really dislike how unimportant the actual Trojan War actually is in the story.
Like, IMAGINE if the plot was more about Helen's perspective during the war. Her abduction, how she feels about Paris and the gods because of what they did to her, her attempts at escaping the castle.
Apollo could even still be a Love Interest, there are some interpretations that say that he and Helen were lovers after her death apparently.
Paris could also be a LI, maybe Helen does end up falling for himand has to decide wether to go back to Sparta to keep her lover safe, or stay in Troy and risk the war.
A third LI could be added, too, but i dunno who exactly. It's been a while since I read anything realated to the Illiad or the Trojan War.
Queen Marie
=> Lafayette
All main companions are just as strong. But I prefer Lafayette personality.
Magic Lamp
=> Light
There are gaps between Kahir and Light. The story with Kahir is boring and the Light one is more fun. Light has fun personality for me.
Gotham Memoirs
=> Davis
He is the one of my favorites companion and my most fav in Gotham Memoirs (btw Gotham Memoirs is my most favorite as far as I play DUTP). At first I was annoyed with him, but when I went through the story with him as first lead, I really liked him. Also I like that Liz is still a journalist.
Swan Lake
=> Aldous
I enjoyed the story but it has weak companions. At least, Adwin is villain so yeah, I choose Aldous.
Helen of Sparta
=> Achilles
Actually I'm in the middle of the story. I can't continue because of fashion lab. So far I’m annoying with Apollo so yeah.. Achilles is better.
Romy and Julius
=>Laurence
The case is almost similar to what happened in Magic Lamp, but this one is better. Julius has more power than Kahir. But Laurence is more romantic lol
Shadow of London
=> Edward
The companion are just as strong. But not so strong because the story isn't finished yet. So far I like Edward because it is very romantic. He’s looks like Laurence. I don't care that some Vincent SIMP bash him lol
I’m currently working on making items inspired by Time Princess! Whether you want to cosplay at a convention or have some casual everyday cosplay in your life, if you like any of these items, please check them out on my Redbubble store! If you have any suggestions for items I should make, please leave them in the comments below!
(Side note: Sorry the bucket hat is not a light blue, there are only 5 base colors of bucket hats to choose from on Redbubble and sadly there is no light blue option.)
So I play the dress-up game Time Princess (don’t get me started on historical inaccuracies), it’s my guilty pleasure mobile game. It’s got its fair share of minigames, like a board game, an outfit-match game, etcetera.
One of these aforementioned minigames is a lottery, where you pop the mouse-shaped balloon and get a prize. This is called the “Lucky Jerry.” There is usually a picture of a cat on the title screen.
Is that mouse-shaped balloon roulette thing called “Lucky Jerry” because of fucking Tom & Jerry. Where the mouse is called JERRY??????
Time Princess you absolute geniuses. You bastards. I’ve been playing this game for almost two years WHAT THE FUCK
This is intended to be a quick summary for people who might not be familiar with the game and still want to read this blog. If you would like more information please visit the wiki, check out the DUTP socials, or send an ask.
Time Princess: Story Traveller, hereafter referred to by their earlier name Dress Up Time Princess (DUTP), is a mobile game that combines elements of a visual novel and dress up game. Players have a certain amount of stamina every day that they use to play stages, earn blueprints, and craft clothing, which is then worn to pass stages. Most stages will offer choices, ranging from flavor text dialogue choices to significant choices that will unlock different endings and drastically affect the storyline.
In the game the story is that your character, hereafter referred to MC, is transported into different worlds through a magical book. Romance is a common element across most of the stories, with story companions being fully animated and needing to be interacted with daily to level up the relationship and unlock certain blueprints and stages. The app is rated G for General Audiences but individual stories may delve into more mature subjects; this blog will provide trigger warnings based on topics discussed, but as a rule topics such as character death, injuries, and non graphic violence are discussed and will not have warnings. Feel free to send an ask if you have questions about these trigger warnings, either in game or in this blog.
There are currently 41 main stories released. Their names and acronyms are listed below the cut, in order of release.
