Tales of Duskenwood Update 1

Alright people, let's do this one last time. I'm Eli, and I'm the creator of a webcomic called Tales of Duskenwood. Never heard of it? It's because it doesn't exist yet! And I'm working hard to change that.

No, I most certainly did NOT copy and paste that from my last post.

Anyway, I have some good news in the form of a release schedule! I haven't actually made a formal calendar yet, but I'll give you the rundown. Every Sunday before Halloween I'll share an update like the one you're reading right now. This means that October 22 and October 29 are ToD update days, so mark em' on your calendar if you give a crap about this comic!

And then on Spooky Day itself the first chapter will release, if all goes according to plan.

So! There's your calendar, and now for general story updates. It's only been a week or two, and I already have the majority of the story and lore finished up. The first chapter is being storyboarded right now! Hooray!

i am dumb

I am very dumb. You guys (the six of you who viewed my Duskenwood teasers) have waited patiently for several weeks after the due date.

Can you see why I’m dissing myself?

Anyway, I have been struggling immensely to complete even the first chapter. For this I am sorry. However, I will continue to work on it. Until then, I will be trying to publish a short one-page story every other day or so! Maybe that’s ambitious, maybe even more so than Duskenwood, but I’m gonna try it. Thanks for bearing with me! Have a day :)

Tales of Duskenwood Sneak Peek?

Hey, small number of people looking at this post! I'm Eli, and I'm the creator of a webcomic called Tales of Duskenwood. Never heard of it? It's because it doesn't exist yet! And I'm working hard to change that.

Tales from Duskenwood is a DND-inspired comic set in the realm of Duskenwood. The story follows a grung necromancer named Flicker who aspires to reach the mysterious town of Nexus. Along the way, Flicker will encounter strange friends, foes, and anthropomorphic toes. (Mostly kidding about that last one... or WAS I????)

In a few weeks I'll release the pilot strip. Until then, be on the lookout for these little tidbits of art. See you in the next one, friends.
