hey sorry if this is too forward! hello from a random person going thru your blog and reading all your analysis and nodding thoughtfully. fwiw as someone whos read all the books and is up to date your analysis is very cool and interesting (i esp agree that khazid'hea had a REALLY bad effect on to'sun and giving him the sword fucked him good cause we do visibly see that it represses doumwielle's regrets and thoughts that arent murder/goal-focused. it was absolutely doing the same to him). HELLO I'm glad you enjoy my little posts... it's not too forward at all tbh I love to talk especially on a subject like these books I'm unwell about right now! genuinely overjoyed to hear from someone who's read them all, I've read only a handful of them in a strange order so I'm going back to the Homeland novel eventually, I'm very endeared to Drizzt himself. I've also considered continuing from Companions Codex since I want to see what's going on with Doum'wielle more than anything right now... we'll see. I'm eager to read more and of course say more, it's a huge series so I'm curious what else catches my eye besides this one specific plotline and set of characters. and thank you for this message it's so nice and made me smile to read!

-jarlaxle taking artemis and zak on missions together to introduce them the way you would introduce two cats in a household
