My problem is that I understand these characters in a way that’s arguably very wrong, but also arguably a lot funnier than what’s correct.

Don;t Starve stimming headcanons please!

Tbh I actually don’t have a ton, but there are two characters I am very much “*points* autism” about:

Wilson

He’s got two different ways of stimming: shaking his hands and playing with his hair. He does a sort of “excited teen girl” hand shake whenever he’s doing science or just gets excited. Hair twirling is more tied to him getting excited or nervous. He’s such a baby girl and his stimming shows it /hj

Willow

Fidgeting with her lighter is hers. Admittedly I’m simultaneously “she is so autism”, “she is so adhd” and “she is so neurotypical but she’s traumatized” about Willow, so I’m not like 100% for this headcanon, but it is one I have so might as well share. If she gets too excited, nervous, etc etc she NEEDS to have her lighter in her hands to calm down.

I headcanon her as adhd but might as well include her here anyway; she paces. A lot. For being as lazy as she is she paces as a fidget/stim. She also has The Leg Bounce™️ when she’s chillin out of course
