spirk rant i DONT LIKE when people water down kirk x spock to the classic sunshine x raincloud cause NO. NO THEY ARE NOT. YOU DONT UNDERSTAAAND kirk is the romantic playboy and spock is the cool-headed nerd. mind and soul!! sunshine x raincloud doesnt even make SENSE because since when is kirk bright and bubbly?? since when is spock cynical and emo?? kirk is a competent & confident leader who makes brash decisions (and has the luck of the universe on his side). He’s a huge flirt but he likes ROMANCE! and spock has absolutely never been a lil gloomy dude- people just think he’s gloomy ‘cause he has a flat face & tone but NOO. hes so hopeful and motivated, he’s just not all loosy-goosy like kirk is!

spirk is intuition x logic, unreasonable hope x reasonable optimism, playboy romantic x cool-headed nerd (theyre both nerds though), mind x soul, luck x reason. it is NOT. sunshine x raincloud. get it RIGGHT
