a - about (what about you made them want to marry you?)

most likely the fact that you want to be with him despite the fact that your life will be in danger. he admires the fact that you’re brave enough to do that and that your love for him is so strong that you’ll willingly put yourself in that position. it’s a lot to take on the weight of a whole kingdom for one person, and he admires you for taking up that challenge of being by his side.

b - baby (would they want kids with you as soon as possible?)

not immediately no. he would love kids at one point, but with his duty as king and the constant onslaught of enemies attempting to destroy everyone in the world he doesn’t think he could bring himself to allow his children into that kind of environment. of course if you do get pregnant then he’d be absolutely ecstatic and do everything he can to ensure their protection. he also really wants to spend as much time as possible with them, so the fact that he’s currently travelling everywhere wouldn’t be ideal, hence why he’d like to wait a bit.

c - celebration (how would they celebrate your anniversaries?)

arthur would 100% go all out - flowers, decorations, lavish gifts and parties to celebrate - if that’s what you want of course. he wants your anniversary to be a special occasion, so if you want it to be occasion then he’ll definitely make it the biggest one the country has ever seen. if not, count of arthur being the most tender, sweetest and giving partner ever. a slow morning, smothering kisses all over your face, holding you close and treating you like the queen you are. he wants to remind you of how much you mean to him and how much he loves you.

d - divorce (how would they handle if you wanted a divorce? what caused it?)

he’d be absolutely devastated and most likely the happy-go-lucky attitude he has would completely disappear. he’d distract himself with work and helping the people of his kingdom, most likely pretending he doesn't know who you are when someone asks about you. he’d be absolutely baffled by it - he’d tried his best to give you anything and evrything - so why didn’t it work.

but at the same time he understands - after all he was almost always away from camelot - when was the last time the two of you spent more than five minutes together? usually if he was back in the castle he’d be sleeping or stuffing his face - he knows he didn’t give your much attention, so he does respect the fact that you decided to file for divorce, but that wouldn’t lessen the blow.

e - earnest (are they serious about your marriage? or can they be a little immature about it?)

he’s incredibly serious about your marriage - it’s a lot to accept the role of his wife knowing that you’ll be the queen of his kingdom too. he would certainly never disrespect your marriage by having an affair or a mistress like so many nobles typically do - your marriage to his is a strong sacred bond and he would never even fathom breaking that.

f - favorite (what was your favorite things before and after you got married to each other?)

he loves to take you on as many dates as possible - preferably ones where the two of you aren’t continuously surrounded by guards to protect you from potential threats. he’ll try to take you to as many places as possible and spend time smothering you with love. the two of you still love to do that after your marriage too - it’s the one of the few moments the two of you can be truly alone together without being flanked by advisers, assistants and the like.

g - giving (do they spoil you?)

oh absolutely. he hopes that it’ll make up for the amount of time he has to spend away from you. the moment you mention something he’ll stop at nothing to get his hands on it for you whether it be the latest book, the latest dress, the latest painting - he just wants to make sure that you don’t get bored and know that he’s still thinking of you when all of these lavish gifts arrive.

h - honeymoon (what did you two do for your honeymoon?)

he’d likely have taken you to some sort of unknown getaway so that the two of you can spend time with each other in relative safety and without having to be smothered by guards and other castle staff. he doesn’t particularly mind what the two of you do, as long as he gets to spend time with you and he knows that you’re going to be safe then he could honestly care less. he likely would have taken you to a place where you could enjoy the sun, sea and sand - mainly so he could take in just how gorgeous you are.

i - invest (how much do they contribute to your marriage?)

it’s kind of hard for him to contribute constantly, but in the times he does get to be with you count on arthur contributing a hell of a lot to the marriage. he tries to make up for the fact that his king-ly duties take him away from you a lot and he’s fiercely dedicated to you.

j - jealous (do they still get jealous even though you’re completely theirs?)

not really - he knows that you’re completely his and he knows that no one would dare go against the king and try to seduce you, so he’s pretty damn confident that nothing will threaten that.

k - kiss (how often would you two kiss? do you still have that spark?)

he kisses you whenever he gets the opportunity - usually they’re short, sweet pecks, but sometimes they’re long passionate kisses and often he smothers your face with kisses too. there will always be the spark with you and arthur - he spends so much time away from you that it’s kind of a given that there will be that spark there because the two of you have never really had the opportunity to spend so much time together you get sick of each other.

l - live (where would you two settle down at?)

it’ll definitely be camelot, but don’t be surprised if arthur tries to persuade you to live in a ‘safe house’ to prevent you from being harmed. he also probably has a lot of homes that the two of you can go to when you want to be alone, and he definitely will move you and the rest of your family there so that you’re not in direct danger by living in the castle. but camelot castle will certainly be your permanent place of residence if everything else doesn’t apply.

m - make (do they still make your heart flutter after years of marriage?)

definitely. as stated earlier - the two of you never really had the opportunity to spend a lot of time together to the point where you’d get too used to each other or sick of each other - so it’s safe to say that giddy early-romance feeling will remain for the rest of your lives every time you’re with each other.

n - never (what is something they would never do?)

he would never cheat on you. it’s typical for nobles to have a mistress, but arthur would certainly never to that. he wouldn’t even consider it and quickly fights off anyone who tries to make an advance on him. he’s not afraid to exert force either - staying dedicated to his woman is his number one priority.

o - opportunity (do you two still get the opportunity to be intimate with one another?)

not as often as the two of you would be like - but he definitely goes out of his way to make sure the two of you have time together in general. he can’t begin to express how much he misses you whilst he’s away on duty, and definitely makes the most of his time in camelot with you.

p - pet names (what pet names do you two give each other?)

sweetheart, my sweet, darling, love, my love, gorgeous, beautiful.

q - quiet (do you two keep quiet about your marriage? or do you always brag about one another?)

he tries to keep it on the down low, but inevitably people do find out. he wanted to keep it as quiet as possible in the hopes that it would prevent you from becoming a target to his enemies - he’d be absolutely devastated if anything ever happened to you. sometimes he goes on a tangent when talking about you - he can’t help it and you can tell how much he loves you when he talks about you.

r - romance (how do you two keep your romance alive?)

the two of you don’t really need to try to keep it alive - the fact that the two of you spend so much time separated from one another is enough to keep the romance alive. he loves to romance you and smother you with love whenever he can, and his mere presence is enough to set you heart off in an intense flutter.

s - selfie (would they take multiple pictures of you? would they save them on their phone?)

definitely. he has tonnes of paintings and drawings of you, and he keeps a small one of the two of you on him at all times. the castle is likely decorated in paintings of the two of you, and you can count on the fact that he has a necklace with a small locket with a tiny drawing of you around his neck on him at all times.

t - teenagers (do you still act like teens when you’re older?)

definitely. there’s still those wandering thoughts about the future, the giggling, the sweet shy kisses and tender touches. whenever someone mentions his name to you it’s enough to set your heart off in a flutter. he absolutely adores you and definitely still has that love-at-first-sight feeling whenever he’s with you.

u - unrelenting (what hasn’t stopped since you two got married?)

your love for one another. it’s difficult for the two of you when you’re separated so much, and to many people it’s surprising that the two of you have never fallen out of love. he loves you dearly and so do you, and that bond and love the two of you have will never die.

v - valentine’s day (what plans do you two make?)

definitely a day alone in bed. sweet mutterings, tender kisses and touches, conversations about what the future holds for the both of you. the two of you spend the day enjoying each other’s presence and avoiding other people who could disrupt the satisfying love and peace the two of you have.

w - wedding (what was your wedding like?)

there’s two options: the first being a large, lavish celebration in which the whole kingdom is involved and hundreds from all over the country flood into the kingdom to witness the ‘first kiss’ between the two of you. there would be tonnes of celebrations in your names, and there would be hundreds of guests too.

the second option being a small, quiet affair. only those within the castle, family and friends know of it. it’s the one arthur is most likely going to push for to kepe you safe. it would still be celebrated, but not as grand. it’s more focused on the love between the pair of you than it is on the celebration for the kingdom.

x - x-ray (can you two see through each other? can you see when you’re lying or not?)

you can easily tell when he’s lying - that much is certain. he sometimes struggles with you - but mainly because there’s so much running through his mind that he just struggles to comprehend what’s happening in that moment. but the two of you definitely can tell when the other needs time to recuperate from what has been happening lately.

y - yearly tradition (what do you two do every year for your wedding anniversary?)

spend the morning in bed together. it’s a given - just having that opportunity to appreciate each other’s presence rather than having to focus on presenting yourselves to the kingdom. he loves being able to be affectionate with you without anyone disturbing you both.
