- #Sonder Premiere 📽 Is my brother going to hate me for posting this? Who knows… Let’s just #hitandrun My brother @diogo.atadini worked in this movie and invited me to the premiere. Everyone was surprised he was there (as soon as he managed to get there, because bloody hell, he was lost!), and everyone was really happy. I could not get everything that Adrian (I guess that is his name, if I remember well) said, but he would be the first of many others talking about my brother today: Many people came to me to say how kind, generous, inspiring, hard-worker and helpful he is. I felt proud seeing someone on stage talking about him, how passionate he is, and little did I know that the crew would come to me, individually, and say that they shared the same thoughts, the same feeling. I do know that my brother love what he does, but I always thought he was more like a practical and direct kind of person, not giving space for such sentimentalism… And I could not be more wrong. And I would like to seize the opportunity to celebrate him, for he deserves to be celebrated indeed, however, this time, I will allow myself to say that my words have more weight and the feeling is deeper, as I know him since when I was born, as I have seen his struggles, what he has been through, and how he managed to overcome it all (and it was a lot - and not easy), to become, today, the man everyone is complimenting - he is more than my older brother, he became everyone else’s older brother - protective, a tutor, someone who is always there for us. My brother has always been an example for me, and I am proud of him because he has been an example for others too… He is making this world better, and when you come from a broken home, as we did, this is the most beautiful and strong thing you can do.
