If someone headcannons bean as a lesbian it’s probably because of her whole speech to Mora about how she’s only ever actually kissed other people and doesn’t really understand why it’s never lead to dating, which was immediately precede by her telling elfo she’s never felt heartbreak, feels very familiar to lesbian who has struggled with comphet.
I think head cannoning her as any sapphic identity (including just sapphic or queer) is absolutely valid at this point. All we know is that Mora is the first person she had sex with and she was the first person to break bean’s heart. We literally only for sure she’s attracted to woman.
People aren’t dismissing her attraction to men because there has yet to be an instance of confirming an attraction to a man. (Though obvs that could change in the future.)
