Covered in blood was an understatement. Her face was splattered with blood in all different directions. Her hair dripping little droplets down her arms. Hands stained with the excess blood that wouldn’t come off on her shirt. It might have been excessive, but she wouldn’t allow anyone to harm Stefan. Not while she was around. “-- You don’t have to clean me off.. I can-- I will.” She stuttered, looking down at her shaking hands. She had just killed someone, slaughtered them with their own sword. Katherine heard of the others on earth, but hadn’t come across them until now. Were they all like the one that attacked him?

“I... He’s dead..” She whispered, her eyes hadn’t left her hands. Burning the image of blood stained hands into her brain. Not that she was likely to forget her first kill. Eyes vacant of emotion, but her breathing was less than steady. “Stefan I can just... I need a lake, please find me water. --- This is going to take you forever.” That and she didn’t want him to see her like this. A monster, that just murdered someone. Granted they had been attacked first. Feeling the piece of his shirt that he ripped off to clean her face, rub gently down the side of her nose. Her eyes finally made their way to his, but only for a moment before she looked away again. Ashamed of what he might think of her. “Are you hurt?” Maybe she could get his attention back on him.

@dickishsassmaster + other blog bc im bad with urls. I'll never forget this one because it's stuck in my head until the end of time and reminds me of when Elias had dick in his url. Let's not talk about that. Anyway, we go way back and I had a nickname they gave me years ago. I kid you not. When I type my name irl sometimes, I make a typo, and it's always that one even now. I've been slow to get back to things since we got back into contact. But, like I love the writing sm and I always did. We were both taking a trip down memory lane and it was so funny bc we were wild. Maybe we are less wild now. *thinking emoji* Stefan and Eli have changed over the years bc of the rpc mostly. But, they are still really damn cute and I love that for us. If I was going to dive headfirst into that fandom again it would because of Stefan and a few other really rad blogs I follow here in the fandom.

@kit-just-kit another person I owe on dis.cord. *shakes brody* WAKE UP BRODY. Okay, but like I've seen Kit around before like a lot over the years. And I don't know if we had really written before anywhere before this blog. But I know I'd seen the muse before. FC is to die for, mun is super nice and like conversation was really fun when we had it, it was all over the place. I live for chaotic conversations. Brody and Kit are gonna be a handful. I know it. But I'm down. I love me some chaotic ships. Let me at them.

Caroline’s bladder had interrupted movie night once again. Thankfully this bathroom break came about during a slower part of the movie rather than right in the middle of the good part like last time. So they had paused it, Stefan had helped her up off the couch and she wandered off to the bathroom. Her return to the livingroom was temporarily diverted when the urge to grab a snack led her to meandering into the kitchen. After grabbing one of the small containers of cantaloupe slices that Stefan had prepared earlier and another bottle of water Caroline was quickly back on track to the livingroom.

The fact that Stefan seemed not at all surprised to see her returning with food pulled a laugh out of her as she made her way toward the couch. Sitting down isn't as easy as it once was. She can't just flop down on the sofa, or Stefan, like she used to, the precious cargo in her large belly requires her to use more caution and finesse. “Wait” Usually Stefan helped her sit down and get cuddled against him, but she stopped him from getting up with a hand on his shoulder. After setting her container down on the couch next to him Caroline reached for his hand, moving it to her hip to help keep her steady before gripping his other shoulder and carefully lowering herself into straddling his lap.

Once she was settled Caroline smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing his nose before leaning forward as much as her belly would allow to cuddle against him. She wouldn’t be able to stay in this position for long, but she wanted the closeness for a little bit. “There. Much better.”

Katherine ran through the woods, trying to get as far from the Salvatore boarding house as possible. She didn’t want to see Damon, or Stefan.-- She was sure if she saw Elena, she would try to drive a stake through her heart. That would win her no brownie points, in fact she might meet death sooner than she already was. Pausing about halfway through to catch her breath, this was new, she never had to worry about something as small as breathing. Her entire body leaning against the nearest tree, as she tried to compose herself.

“Damn it. This wasn’t supposed to happen.” How could she have let this happen. “Five hundred years, and this is what is going to kill me? The common cold? -- Five hundred years!” She was now yelling, but to no one in particular. In fact, if someone walked by her, they might think she was going crazy, and in a way she was. Hearing the snap of a branch, she straightened up, looking over at the stranger. Quickly realizing that he wasn’t a stranger at all. “Come to defend Elena again? -- I don’t have the time or patience for your morals right now Stefan. Just.. just go.”

Happiness at its best #v: happiness at its best

The cure for vampirism has been found and for once the object that a legend spoke of was as simple as the legend claimed. The cure wasn't a single dose, no the object could cure any that chose to use it. In the end Stefan and Caroline both decided to take the cure. They both wanted second chances at the life they wanted and that's exactly what they got.

They moved on with their lives, finishing high school and heading off to college together. They remained just friends at first, Caroline even tried her best to be his wingwoman, but all they did was grow closer and closer together. They were happy, they made each other happy, and that was all that mattered really. Friendship shifted into romance and a year after dating Stefan proposed. Not even the rain clouds that spread across the skies could ruin the happy mood of their June wedding.

Happy. The two of them are very happy together and now? Well now they are waiting the day the newest addition to their little family arrives.
