We are excited to have new stock of Baranil calf from Tannery Degermann. Degermann and Tanneries Haas are now under the same ownership and which makes it easy for us to offer new and exciting options. The Baranil is a double tanned calf leather very similar to Haas Novonappa but with a little more protective finish. The benefits of the finish are added scratch resistance and it’s ability to hide any defects in the leather. The drawback is you don’t get the same patina as a naked leather like Novonappa but those seeking a cleaner hide for larger projects the benefit is there.
