The Rotten Bodies
what is left is just a trashy,
trashy rotten bodies
abandoned by the world--which they had chased
bow down to the Lord--which they had renounced
weren't they all just a void?
a void,
that hath thrown to carry out a quest?
something to reap, something to help
weren't they all?
in their dusty exile
thousands of cries are soaring,
"give us your parched roses, son
give us your off-key verses' chants"
what is left are just their rotten bodies
and a bunch of unceasing remorse
written with a view to welcoming Ramadan
