you’d be surprised how many times this very thing has happened to me... and thanks for the kind words!

okay here we go, justice for party! (cause half of these were kobra and ghoul and we wouldn’t want him to feel left out.)

love!

loving people doesn’t come too hard for party, if we’re talking about loving his friends, his brother or his parents. but when it comes to loving someone in the sense of romance... that’s where he stops acting like himself. he has absolutely no idea whatsoever what he’s supposed to do with it. confess? what if they reject him? mock him? he doesn’t want to ruin a friendship if the other person (read: ghoul) doesn’t feel the same way. so he’ll try to cope with it and suppress those feelings as if they were something bad. but if the other one makes a move... bless the witch, he’ll never let him go...

dreams!

same as every other killjoy, he’d say: blood, loss, death, victory, friends, enemies, old life, screaming words he’d never say awake. he dreams most about the girl, korse and (of course) ghoul and mostly tries to forget them when he wakes up. none of them are blessed with dreams you’d talk about in the morning.

scars!

after jet, party has the most scars and, unlike the others, he takes pride in them. a bit too much pride, to be honest. on one hand he’s entitled to: most of them come from battles where he kept fighting to the point of almost meeting the phoenix witch. he’s not someone who gives up easily and he’s stubborn as hell, so you get that retreat is never an option with him. on the other hand he sometimes makes up a grandiose story about a scar he actually got when cola’s guitar string broke and went flying, meeting his thigh. anyway, he likes them - they’re part of his story.

(the two nastiest scars he has are the one on the back of his neck going all the way down to his shoulder blade and the knife scar under his ribcage on the left)

guilt!

party is a person that doesn’t forgive easily and that goes for forgiving himself as well. he has this idea that he needs to be the best version of himself at all times but when you’re out there in the desert making questionable choices every day, it’s kind of impossible. he tries not to think about killing too much. he tries not to enjoy it (he doesn’t really enjoy it, he enjoys the blood rush). yet every once and a while he feels like a bad guy. there’s smaller guilts as well. going off on jet for asking him about his feelings, getting mad and saying things he doesn’t mean when the five of them have an argument, not admitting he’s just as scared as the rest of them. his battle - between being honest and open and better and being the hero the desert needs, the hero he made of himself, the one that’s decisive and almighty - is a tough one.

vengeance!

yes.

everyone in the zones knows better than to mess with party, hurt anyone he loves (they’re already a dead man walking). and they know that because they’ve all seen him when that happens in fights. one time kobra was bleeding so much that they couldn’t figure out where the blood was coming from, another time a crow wanted to cut out cola’s airflow, another time ghoul got shot from close range trying to save him. the way something clicks (or rather breaks) inside poison and the way his eyes light up is terrifying. he registers nothing else. his moves are too fast, too bold, his shots never miss their target. until there’s no targets left.

secret!

okay okay, you can’t tell anyone, not even the guys, ‘cause only kobra knows (kobra knows everything about his brother. so does party.) but - party sleeps with a stuffed animal. it was his and kobra’s favorite plushie when they were kids - a black snake with a red belly. it’s barely the size of party’s palm so it’s easy to hide between his shoulder and his neck when he sleeps without anyone noticing. it brings him comfort.

the venom brothers take turns in snuggling with it.

loss!

he doesn’t like to think about it. about what will happen when they actually lose someone. (because they will, eventually. they were so close a shit-ton of times and he knew that one day they won’t be so lucky) however, he knows he’ll do one of the following:

get drunk. get insanely drunk until he doesn’t know his own name anymore and try to cry. probably won’t speak for a week, a month. then get his shit together and avenge them.

try to act like it hurts less than it actually does so that he doesn’t worry the others, it would be the last thing they need, for him to lose his mind and act like he’s close to just giving up.

if it’s kobra, go to bat city and try to blow up bli. probably die trying. but it wouldn’t matter anymore.
