Ayn Rand - What Is Capitalism? (full course)

Here's the thing about Ayn Rand: her Objectivism is essentially the epistemology of the Harvard MBA program.

"death comes in threes" well within a two week period my friend Vivian died and then my two former residents died.
My memere jache is dying. Shes been dying but she was waiting for my dad, her grandson, to come visit her one last time and he hasn't because he's a douche. But now shes had covid-19 so she probably won't hold on much longer. It hurts me because I didn't get to know her as much as my sisters plus she's my only tie to the Abenaki heritage in my family cuz my Mimi won't tell me so I won't get to know about that part of me anymore.
So I've been really racked about that lately thinking about it. But then I just thought. Death comes in threes. When she does finally go... Who else am I gonna lose? David has liver problems. I've had internal bleeding. My mom is at a high risk of cancer because of her skin condition (which prompts me to do an anti-douching psa one day btw tmi). My dad is a heavy smoker and heavy drinker. My cousin who is like my sister has been having health problems. My actual little sister ran away with an abusive pedophile boyfriend and is about to have her second kid despite her having problems the first time and she's been having health issues now apparently.
I really don't want this to hit someone close to me. Or me.

I'm really glad Eva gets excited about learning about her Mexican heritage because I grew up with
1. My family not teaching me anything about any of my heritage except some polish or Irish food related things and my grandmother speaking gratuitous polish 2. Not even knowing I was French and abenaki until I was 18 when I met my dad for the first time and no one teaching me about that either except my mem jache teaching me about a little bit of abenaki customs and traditions and beliefs but nothing about my actual family and not a whole lot of info because shes been in the nursing home going in and out of pretty much the brink of death.
So I'm glad Eva gets to learn about at least one part of who she is through David's family. And I love that I get to participate in their traditions and that David has been teaching me about his heritage as well because it makes me feel like I finally belong somewhere.
