Potential Story Ideas for a Buddy Daddies S2 (Daughter Daddies)

- Kazuki and Rei having to figure out how they fit into each others lives now that Miri is more independent and doesn’t need as much watch and care.

- Kazuki and Rei figure out how to tell Miri the truth about her past.

- Miri meeting her birth family (her grandparents).

- Miri learning how to deal with what actually happened to her birth parents and learning how to reconceptualize her papas and Kyutaro that she knows now with the ones that she learns about in the past.

- Shigeki or the Organization causing trouble for them.

- Visits from other friends of the family like Kyutaro, Karin, and Miss Anna (you know she stays in contact).

- Kazuki running into Carol and Dorothy again in Okinawa.

- Miri’s life at school: her friends, hobbies, clubs, having a crush, etc.

- Kazuki and Rei dealing with Miri having a crush.

- Miri having issues with their over protection.

- Miri bringing home a stray cat and Kazuki going, “Oh boy, not this talk again.”

- Except this time, both Miri and Rei team up against Kazuki so they get to keep the cat.

- Miri learning how to be responsible for their pet cat.

Buddy Daddies ending the series with a ten year time skip was such a smart idea because there is so much more potential for a second season, if they were to ever do one, than if they had left the series with Miri as a toddler, imo. There would have still been material there, but I feel certain elements would have gotten stale fairly quickly.

I’ve been sick so this took a little longer to complete than my other stuff but I’m really happy with it.

So sad the show is over but delighted that it ended with a bang! I was so afraid it was gonna take a turn for the worse last second- but am so happy it didn’t. I hope everyone on the crew goes on to work on more wonderful projects like this. I also hope all the writers get paid 100000000000000000000$ because they deserve it.
