.｡.:*☆ Carrie was only in the mall because she wanted to buy some new books. Not because of the Halloween decorations. And surely not because she was hoping to meet new people there. Carrie wanted friends. Of course she did. But she also feared that people would judge her. Or just, play with her again. It was nothing she wished to go through a second time, really. So, books were the better option. The safer one, and….

Being so lost in her thoughts, Carrie did not notice the other person until it was too late. They collided, and all her books fell to the ground. Frozen in shock, she could just stay there, staring at the other girl with wide eyes full of fear.

        “ no way , you’re really out ? ” lonnie pouted as she accepted she would not be able to get her favorite kind of coffee today. “ sorry, i was just really looking forward to it but um i’ll take a vanilla latte instead. ” a man behind her grumbled loudly something along the lines of ‘ hurry up picky bitch. ’ she frowned, ready to whip around and give this guy a piece of her mind. no reason to call her names for taking an extra second to order coffee in the afternoon. breakfast rush, sure, a moment could never be wasted but the shop currently only had a handful of customers since she walked in.

"jess! hi!" a wave a sam's hand caused the wind to pick up through the sand, pushing out toward jess. "oh, sorry! i don't know why this keeps happening to me," she huffed, running her fingers through her hair. "uh, how have you been? it's... been a while, hasn't it?" she questioned, biting down on her lower lip. she was nervous that jess wouldn't want anything to do with her. she wouldn't blame the other though, wanting to start anew, forget old friends for new ones. she just hadn't seen the other and wanted to catch up if jess was willing. sam and jessica hadn't been the closest, but they'd gone through a similar experience and sam wanted to be sure jess was coping okay.

               raven  shrugged  her  shoulders  ,  the  place  was  really  no  different  from  their  world.  only  difference  was  that  they  were  in  a  different  time  period  then  the  one  they  were  used  to.  ‘  i  guess  but  our  world  was  also  like  this  and  there  was  magic  there  as  well.  ‘  raven  pointed  out  ,  though  she  was  glad  for  the  others  presence  even  if  she  didnt  admit  to  it.

"Beth?" Jo couldn't believe her eyes as she turned around to look at her younger sister. "Oh my god you-- I thought you were... Never mind. I'm glad you're here." She didn't care if Beth didn't truly remember her, if she just thought that there was a familiarity, she was glad to see her. Jo hugged her younger sister tightly, trying to refrain from tearing up. Beth had passed. Jo hadn't been able to stop it, to help her sister get better. Now there she was in Sydney. "Amy is here too, she's still the same old Amy, just a bit more mature than she had been." She'd always been closer with Beth out of all of her sisters, but after finding Amy here, the two were starting to get closer just a little.

Eyebrows raise as she realizes the other knew her name, despite feeling like she was familiar, she couldn't recall a time where they had met before, she wasn't exactly social by any means. When she begins to stammer, wanting to know why she knew her name, she watches the other hug her and it takes a moment for her to respond, wrapping her arms back before trying to subtly slide away from it, not wanting the other to be hurt by the quick hug. "I'm sorry, how do you know my name, and I can't say I know who this Amy person is."

at first, prue had thought that when she had been able to clean up the coffee she spilt this morning easily was just her weird abilities. after all, she could move things with her mind. another thing she was unable to explain. but then when she had left her house and headed into the centre for work, prue had noticed the whole city had some sort of power to control an element. side stepping someone who was just blowing gusts of wind everywhere, prue sighed. "i guess magic does exist," she said out loud. she had been denying her own powers and the weird things of this city because it was odd and she didn't understand.

“who, louie? probably not.” dewey shrugged as he looked at his friend. “i think he’s still materialistic, to be quite honest with you.” he didn’t think it was too bad of a trait, just so long as louie didn’t end up like their uncle scrooge. “i think he’ll always be this way, but at least with his mindset, he’ll be rich, which means i’ll be rich. well, if he chooses to share the wealth.” he rolled his eyes slightly. “with his money and my good ideas, and huey’s brains, i think that we can be the next big thing in money. billionaires!” dewey always had big dreams like that, all the triplets did. they got it from their family.

.｡.:*☆ "This place got sort of insane, right?" It maybe was why they had not managed yet to work on any of their plans. Like, renting a place in Sydney together to live in. El still very much liked the idea, but since she and Max had not been talking much after the incident with the portals, she had no idea if the other still felt the same.

"Which reminds me, uh...." El did not know why, but she felt awkward bringing it up now. "Remember we had talked about moving in together before this all happened? And if you do, then, well... would you still be up for it now, or...?"

this was no washington heights, that was for sure. vanessa honestly didn’t even think this was earth anymore. she had no clue where she was. growing up, she dreamed of getting out of the heights, but now she was wishing she was back there instead of here. “do you know this, uh, portal thing works?” she asked as another person approached. “i’ve never seen anything like this before.” if they’d had this back where she was from, she would honestly love it. if she could figure out how it worked, it would be an efficient way to get to another place. better than taking the subway or going through the traffic on the streets. no traffic to worry about, she assumed. “i’m just trying to explore more.” she explained, scratching the back of her neck. she wanted to see what this place had to offer before she wrote it off as a place she didn’t want to be stuck in.

                   lumine  looked  at  the  other  with  a  raised  eyebrow  ,  she  maybe  a  bit  sassy  but  she  wouldnt  consider  her  a  bad  guy  in  fact  she  tried  to  help  people  as  much  as  possible.  ‘  why  would  you  say  that?  ‘  lumine  asked  her  curiosity  peaking  a  bit.  its  times  like  this  when  she  missed  paimon  around  ,  as  much  as  she  got  on  her  nerves  she  was  a  dear  friend.  ‘  i  assure  you  im  not  a  bad  person.  ‘

beverly was always so cool. so brave. eddie had always looked up to her even if it wasn't obvious. she was so different from him. but he'd always liked her. not in the way he... liked richie but that was entirely beside the point. so like far beside the point it wasn't even funny. his feelings were stupid. they obviously weren't going to go anywhere. so going out to lunch with beverly just made since. it was a great and well needed distraction. "bev!" he called out with a soft smile as he saw her coming up to the restaurant. he'd come early to make sure they'd have a table. his anxiety still had a tendency to get the best of him. more than he'd like to admit.
