So no hair edits or whatsoever, build from the ground, with new high poly scalp, and 2k textures. It’s not 100% done, need some few fixes here and there but boi, its 99% done alright.

Hi Nana, sorry to bother you. I just love your dwemer character, Dahikhan and I was wondering how you converted her head mesh to a high poly one in 3dsmax? If you have some time to spare, can you share the step by step of how you did it?

That’s the thing.. I did not converted her head. I rebuild it. Converting heads from low to high poly can be very finicky especially for any kind of elven race.

I tried many different steps to convert her head and it was giving me more troubles then it was worth it, it required so much edit fixing, so that’s why i just started from scratch, by remaking her head in racemenu with the citrus head, export the head mesh and turn it into an obj file and continue to edit it in 3ds max and then transfer it back into the game.

It surely is different, but still recognizable! I am happy with the results so far. Need to change her eye colors again, cause the ones she originally had, somehow, isn’t listed in the sliders, so I have to readd them :I May have to tweak her lips more, the upper lip is very different then to that she originally had.

yeah, def need to tweak those more, I like the older one bit better, lol.

Never got around to post this… I made this header for my RP blog that I never really got around to fully use, woeps.

It’s my Snow elf gal, Nythaezar. Wow what a complicated name! You got that right, I based her name on how Dwemer names could have been. Dwemer names? But Nana, why? Glad you asked! She is a Snow Elf but has dwemeric relatives. Both her parents are snow elves but her grandfather is a dwemer and her grandgrandgrand paps as well. How is that possible?

Well I have created a bunch of headcanons for this, and I firmly believe that not every dwemer agreed to the whole fungus poison debacle, so a group of them, rebelled against the idea, causing a civil war/conflict within the society in that region (because each dwemer region is different to another and it’s known that they are pretty a devided folks even amongst themselves, pretty similar as the dunmers we know today), however the ones who were against the idea were lacking in numbers, so instead of losing the war, they and a group of snow elves gathered their strength and powers to create a pocket realm to escape and live in peace, together. From time to time, they would send a little group of scouts in order to retrieve more of their prisoned snowy brethren and bring some resources along the way

But then, after the whole debacle with Kagrenac and the heart, half of the party did not returned, only the snow elves who first hand witnessed how half their party members vanished into thin air. The dwemers who were within the realm were not affected, but this event did led to a new rule that leaving the realm was forbidden, therefore the ones who would leave the realm, were not able to return, now that the realm is ever moving for safety measurement and only a few within the council had the knowledge to the teleportation spell(similar like the psijics location). At this point the realm has already flourished to its fully potential and therefore, none saw a reason to leave it anyway, they had their own paradise.

Nyth, however, was not happy in the realm. It was just.. Too perfect… She wanted to go out into the world and explore all the things she only read about. After debating with herself and accepting the consequences (being unable to ever return and leaving her life behind for good), she packed her things and fled, to live her life as she saw fit, to have the freedom she so much desired. Nythaezar is also related to.. Dahikhan and plays an important role into her story arc. How? That, my friends, is another story for another post.

I'm very tempted to recreate Dahikhan's save and actually write down her story arc but idk if anyone would wanna read about a dwemer shit head that tossed herself into the 4th era by accident and ends up in a wild rollercoaster
