Oh you know that one FUB photo? Yeah, the one. Well I drew it for Inktober as the last entry this year:

Wanted to draw something more special and a bit more time-consuming, and thought this would fit the athmosphere and the prompt word better than anything.

THIS is what I was working on last night :D I finally relistened to Hell, two times even, and what else would have fit that better than the idea I got already before the release: to try and draw the cover art with my style. And I think it came out quite well. (Can you spot where I have used photoshop? I failed with Farin’s face big time and had to fix it with something and then fixed the fixing with photoshop and have to say that I’m surprised how well it went!)

In reality the album name is actually the exact same color as the actual cover art, the scanner made it too red and I tried to edit it in the photoshop too. I guess it worked quite well but it’s impossible to say if the color is exactly correct as how it appears depends so much on the computer or phone screen one is using.

Farin Urlaub turned 60 today, and for once I was actually prepared!

Here are my two attempts with arts, and two different art mediums:

^This one's art medium was not anything too common - I actually decided to try and paint Farin with tea. The face might not look 100% like FU, but I also didn't think I'd able to paint anything resembling a human in general (+ I have never liked water colours, I don't know how to paint!), so I'm more than happy with the final result.

^ And this one was my Plan A turned into a Plan B when I figured this one was too small to be painted with tea, but could save me if the tea painting would not work out. This one was drawn with my beloved ProMarkers. The face, again, might now look 100% like FU, but he still has a face that is near impossible to draw and I think it still looks like him, even tho I think I somehow managed to make him look younger despite the reference photo being from last year :D

We had some vector graphics lessons and practices at school and instead of doing anything actual, this is what I ended up doing.

I realized I never posted this drawing here - a prompt I got on Instagram a while back!

As the text says: Farin tickling Bela.

I got some art prompts on Instagram for the set of watersoluble graphite pencils I recently bought. One of them was "Die Ärzte 👀" and this is what I came up with:

^Idk if Farin even looks like Farin, it looks more like some Bela/Farin combo lmao.

And the next one was actually what I drew first when the first attempt of eyes did not work out:

But I still wanted to draw/paint eyes because I found that'd be hilarious because of the emoji :DDDDDDDD With the latter I used white acrylic paint for the white parts as I still haven't been able to find a white pen that would be thin, solid and opaque enough for my art. For the first one I used just a plain white gel pen as I didn't need that big areas to cover with white + some white pen I bought which, still, did not work as I wanted it to work.

An old sub-hyperfixation of mine popped up randomly this other day and resulted in this. Or, actually it was the colours! I just wanted to use ProMarkers on something with lots of colours and this was the perfect target. The yellow marker almost ran out. (I need to buy more! Also the shade I use for Bela's and Farin's skintone almost ran out, and I have 2 old markers of that shade. I also need to buy shades more suitable for Rod's skin colour, as currently I have to improvise a lot to make him look natural but not dead, nor too dark-skinned or too red.)

I was hit by this wave of creativity this other day and here are a bunch of 90s Farins and one hungry Bela + Janane.
